I just graduated from the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at Eagle Gate College and I would recommend this program to anyone that knows that they want to become a nurse. They cut out all of the general education requirements like arts and other electives, which allows them to take a year off of your degree plan. The school is a bit pricey, but the quality of education, the amount of attention that you receive from professors, and the small cohorts really make it worth your while. Classes are only held one or two days a week, in addition to clinical work (once you get into the core nursing classes), and the remainder of classes are online. I was able to work full-time while I was going to school, which allowed my wife the opportunity to stay home with our baby. I can understand the frustration people might have racking up student loans and then not finishing the program, that is why I recommend this program to people that KNOW they want to become a nurse, and are willing to put in the hard work to finish the program. Nursing school is not easy, nor should it be as people's lives will depend on you once you graduate. If this post was helpful in your decision to choose the BSN program at Eagle Gate College, let them know I sent...
Read moreI just graduated in December from Eagle Gate's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. I would really recommend this school if you are wanting to get into nursing school without waiting lists. Their program allows you to work and go to school. I had to work full time going through nursing school and due to only have to go to class on campus 1 or 2 days a week made it possible for me to still work. The class sizes are small and you get to know everyone including the instructors. I made life long friends with my cohort and got to know the instructors on a personal level. I never felt like I was just a number or another student in the class. I always felt welcome and that my instructors actually cared about me and my success. We were able to have all our resources needed and were able to get help from the instructors when needed. I feel that I have been set up for success in passing the NCLEX and getting a job. I also feel like I recieced a high quality education through Eagle Gate College. I have absolutely loved my time going through the program, even though nursing school is challenging. I would highly recommend Eagle Gate...
Read moreThese guys seem really desperate and impatient. I didn’t make it past meeting with the admissions advisor because I got too many weird feelings with their progressively odd behavior. They were very much just trying to shove me through into the program before I even had time to consider, and they were very pushy about everything. Starting out, they called me literally less than a minute after I put my info into the “learn more” spot on the site. Then they proceeded to send me through a 2 hour presentation just impromptu, which really should’ve been scheduled or at least a warning given. Then when they called me back later to schedule a follow up phone call, they asked to do it the next day, and when I told them no that I wouldn’t be able to do it until the Monday after, they continued to try to get me to schedule it on the day I had just very clearly just said no to. Additionally I sent an email asking questions, and the response was very rude and impatient, I will be attaching a photo of the...
