I tried asking for mattress brands and prices with frames and box springs. He didn't give me the information. Instead, he said they have 10-year warranty, no brand name and keep prices down. So I ask him again how much and if he has frames or box springs. He responds that he only uses frames and says he has a variety of mattresses at varying prices. Still no prices really. I ask for the models. Finally, he gives me more information. He tells me a bunch of models, says he sells everything 50-80% off of regular mattress store and is best to come in. Which is a typical sales tactic, but I'm looking at mattresses so I'm okay with it. He asks for 4:30 pm. I ask him for times for the next day. He says 4:30 pm the next day, but no other times. I ask for 9:30 am in the morning the next day. He finally tells me his time range for appointments. He says 4:30-9 pm. When you look at this listing here on Google, it currently says 24 hours, so not sure what that is all about. I tell him that his responses are spotty and ask for a showing later tonight at 8 pm as that is the only time I can get there tonight, but he said he was booked and didn't suggest any other days when he had time available. Financing was quick, lots of options for that too, and he took different payment methods. He enjoyed having a real conversation with us and humoured us with stories. He showed the utmost respect to my grandkid, who can be uncomfortable in new places as someone on the autism spectrum. Dave immediately put us at ease with his kind, low-pressure approach. He was incredibly patient with our kids, even when our 2-year-old kept calling him āGrandpaā (in her defense, anyone with a beard who isnāt Dad gets that title!).
