Your reply is beyond my expectations. Thank you very much. My complaint is regarding customer service and scheduling delivery. After twenty weeks two regular chairs were delivered by mistake instead of the recliners. The rest of the $6,000+ order was correct. I called and spoke to customer service and they said they would get back to me. I waited an hour and called back again. Fortunately, I had my original receipt. After three hours speaking to multiple customer service representatives, Snyders is now ordering the recliners but I have to wait another 20 weeks for delivery. I am concerned that the color shade of the new recliners may be off from the ottomans since they are made in a different lot. Customer service denied that the color might be off. I also have to return the chairs that were delivered when the recliners arrive. They refused to make any financial compensation for the mistake and stated it was the Amish company's mistake. From the customer's point of view, the transaction should be seamless between Synder's partners. I should not have to hear who's mistake it was. I don't feel fully compensated for this error nor do I feel that Snyder's values me as a customer.
Also, once the furniture was ready, I was not given sufficient notice nor able to schedule the delivery date. I was notified via email on a Friday that the furniture would be delivered the following Monday. I was able to contact the delivery team who agreed to a 6:30 pm delivery time. (Not sure what would have happened if I had been away and not seen the email.) When notifying Snyder's of the frustration, they stated that this is the furniture delivery company.
It is unfortunate because the furniture is beautiful, but I don't think I will do business with Snyder's again. I don't feel they value me as a customer on a very large purchase. You're only as strong as your weakest link. Thanks for...
Read moreDefinitely Over Priced!!! Their in the middle of our Tourist Trap ! Was told by Jason we price match, when price was presented, Jason said " I can't believe their only making $400 Dollars ". Never photo copied the price match presented or wrote it down word for word. Once the dinning set was delivered table had wrong finish. Talked to Peter ( Manager) and he said " You signed twice for it" ( Which I didn't) and I will have to pay for the repair of wrong finish. I said once repair is made and I inspect it you will be paid. No luck, Peter wanted paid first for THEIR mistake. I'm taking it to the BUCK south of Lancaster Rt.272 to have the Amish do the refinishing. Same Amish indoor and patio Furniture, unbelievable savings on the same Furniture. Don't let Snyder's Furniture web sight Verses FOOL YOU! Peter also said" You take it elsewhere to have it fixed you void the warranty " The only reason I gave a star is you have to in order to post. I give them a -5 star iyf I could !!! Clarification on Manager's response. First Table was not ordered per Document presented for price match.( Brown over Black not Brown over Brown). Also I didn't know Snyder's Furniture are mind readers too saying " we will make it the way you thought it was to be". Second Snyder's Furniture lied when they said " they let us have the dinning set for half price, which in fact I refused payment on remaining balance. Why lie ? Come on. I'm waiting on a court date about this issue, But NO Snyder's Furniture took their easy way out. I have all the documents needed to prove my case...
Read moreVery expensive furniture and Snyder's doesn't stand behind their workmanship. Absolutely do not buy from them. We purchased a kitchen table and chair set, we sneeze and the table scratches and we're told the top of the table is like the hood of a car, your wouldn't slide a dish across the car, don't slide dishes across the table. Customer service was horrible, when I called about the issue everyone was blamed but them. The bench that came with the table has 2 bubbles in it, they refuse to fix even though they claim it's lifetime warranty against defects as long as we purchased and remain owners of the furniture. My 6 year old son did his homework at the table and his name is now engraved in the top of the table and they claim it's hard wood and durable. I have purchased tables from discount furniture stores that withstand normal use, this expensive furniture is junk and is not makes to withstand being used by a family!!
No way would I give them any money or business.
below is the email from their Sales Manager, Eileen:
I spoke with the manufacturer ( he is the one who decides what will be done) He explained it like this - We have a durable catalyzed conversion varnish finish. Just like the paint job on your car - you wouldn't slide a dish/mug across the hood or dry dust. Treat the finish on your furniture the same way.
Not to mention we didn't slide any dishes on the table, the table was scratched from board games and homework.
This business is only about taking your money and not standing behind the...
