Five Below — Local services in League City

This place is always an A+ on my list, everything Five Below, although starting to notice that they're creeping up on their prices on merchandise, which does not go by their name, Time to change the title so those won't expect to walk in thinking they'll be paying 5 Five Below. But Is still an Awesome store and worth the visit!!!

Update: 7/21/24 Txcy new location, first time visiting, store was fabulous w/cool merchandise, my only problem, I understand due this new location opened in this area, but as an honest shopper that I am, I was not happy that I had an employee felt the need to follow me while looking at speakers towards the back and phone tech merch., me and my daughter were interested in the purchase of a speaker but was reading the description details on the back, it was very obvious of her presence, she stayed that close! So I walked to her to ask her the details about the item, all she kept saying was I don't know or I'm not for sure, but still followed, so I told her I'll look up reviews on my phone, she stayed starring, now it was just me and her only in that section, both of African American decent, so not a color issue, but I think more of a location judgement issue. I want to point out to the employees at this location I understand there is a history of those not being trustworthy in that area & feel the need to judge, but do understand that everyone does not steal.....!!! When I walked away from that area the young lady with long braids walked away as well, but as I watched others that were of opposite heading that way, she made no attempt to walk back and watch over them as she did me! Customer service is not to harass or follow ppl especially with a cart full of stuff (that had funds and purchased all), but yet was unable to answer questions about merchandise you should have some type of knowledge about working there, or go find out the answer to relay feedback. came in with my boyfriend in the last 10 minute before closing. of course we didn’t know they were about to close, but soon did as the cashier let us know and a female worker yelled from the back within less than 15 seconds. after being in the store for less than 3 minutes and with 5 minutes still left till closing we noticed the female worker standing with her hand on the door staring at us. my boyfriend had grabbed a phone charger and we hurried to check out where she continued to stand impatiently and rushed us out. we were out of the store 2 minutes before they even closed. many stores and restaurant don’t rush you out or at least not in such a rude way but not...

The store was well organized and would have gotten 5 stars, but we stood at the check out for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to check us out. I had to go find an employee, who was chatting with another employee, to ring up our purchases. If we had not been the honest type, we could have walked out the door and been loaded in the car and I don't think it would have ever been noticed. Might need to get the staff to be more concerned about the customers and less about chatting...
