I recently had the pleasure of dining at First Watch, and I can confidently say that my experience was made truly exceptional by our server, Danielle. From the moment we walked in, her welcoming demeanor and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for what turned out to be a delightful breakfast experience. Upon being seated, Danielle greeted us with a bright smile and an inviting attitude that instantly made us feel at home. She took the time to introduce herself and shared her excitement about the day’s specials, which were clearly highlighted on the menu. It was evident that she not only knew the menu inside and out but also had a genuine passion for the food served at First Watch. Danielle's recommendations were spot-on. She suggested the Avocado Toast and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, both of which sounded enticing, and I’m so glad I took her advice! Her detailed descriptions made each dish sound irresistible, and her enthusiasm was contagious. When our orders arrived, I was thrilled to see how beautifully everything was plated. It was almost too pretty to eat—almost! Throughout our meal, Danielle checked in on us with perfect timing. She struck the ideal balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our food and conversation. She made sure our coffee cups were always full, and her friendly banter added a personal touch that made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. One of the highlights of our visit was when Danielle noticed that my dining companion was celebrating a birthday. Without us even asking, she arranged for a complimentary dessert—a delicious slice of their famous French Toast Bake, complete with a candle! This thoughtful gesture truly demonstrated her commitment to providing a memorable experience for her guests. The atmosphere at First Watch was already vibrant and inviting, but Danielle’s exceptional service made it all the more special. She has a natural ability to connect with people, and her positive energy was infectious. We left feeling not just satisfied with our meals, but uplifted by the experience as a whole. As we wrapped up our meal, Danielle made sure to ask for any feedback and shared some of her favorite dishes for future visits. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in her role. Overall, I cannot recommend Danielle at First Watch highly enough! If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience with top-notch service, be sure to ask for her. Thanks to Danielle, our visit was nothing short of perfect, and I can’t wait to return for another...
Read moreArrived and was told there was a 15 minute wait..After 30 min...and several guests who arrived and checked in after us was seated before us, we checked on our place in line...The hostess said we were next. Then more people were seated in front of us..We went to check again and she said she was about to send us a text. NEVER RECEIVED IT...after 45 minutes or more with no text...she said well we will just seat you now. I asked to speak with a manager...she said he was busy and never communicated that we wanted to speak with him. She then said he will come to our table...He never did....Sooo. We sent our waiter (who was very nice)to get the manager. The manager proceeds to tell us that no one told him we requested to see him. We explained the situation of our arrival and wait time...And this is the kicker! He doubles down on agreeing that the hostess may have sat us behind others that arrived after us because his hostess don't go in order of arrival because they forget the order..He has to remind them to go in order of arrival:/..My response at that point was OK:/...... Our food is dropped off..we did not get everything we ordered but did not make a fuss because it was not on our ticket..The waiter was nice and funny, but MIA the whole time after he brought our drinks(Someone one else dropped off our food) Waiter shows back up after we sat there for about 10 minutes with our plates stacked on each other because we had been finished eating and gives us the ticket:( We paid and left...I was more dissapointed than...
Read moreWalked in, not greeted, then stated walking into the dining area where the waitress met us and took us to a table. Menus were given to us, dink order was taken, then the waitress took off. She came back with the drink, she asked if we were ready, and I let her know this was our first visit to recommend something. She recommends classic eggs Benedict. I ordered that, and my father-in-law ordered a classic breakfast (egg, ham, potatoes). We waited what seemed like 10 minutes (not sure if that was true but time dragged!). The eggs Benedict were good but had too much hollandaise sauce. The biscuit was swimming in it. The potatoes were nasty. They looked cooked, but we're still raw. We both left them cause of that but my FIL said the eggs and ham were good. It came time to pay and I wasn't sure if I had to pay upfront or if the waitress took it up front as I wasn't informed when the ticket was brought to us. I finally got the attention of our waitress to ask. I went up front to pay and had to wait as there wasn't anyone at the register. Finally, a manager (i think it was a manager) came up to ring up my order and he asked how it all was. I asked him if he really wanted the truth to which he said yes. So, I told him. He apologized about it all and was nice enough to give us a discount. Will we be back? I'm not sure since we're not in this area very often. But, if we do, I won't be ordering those nasty potatoes. By the way, it just wasn't us - the people next to us said the same thing about...
