I liked the place before, my son goes there almost every weekend with my parents, this occasion my son brought some coupons home for Mother's Day, and we're going to soon be expired. He asked me to go with him and eat with what he gave me, So my nephew goes to the same school and got the same coupons, they have no transportation and so I told them I could give them a ride. When I presented the coupons to the girl at the register Jonathan who claim to be the district manager said just take it or she will keep arguing. Right after he gave the girl a bag of money and he took over, he claimed that I couldn't used the coupons unless I pay for my sons when my sons transaction was already done. I didn't get him soda which he can't drink for health issues. So I told him, is fine let me have my coupons back I will keep it as a memory of my sons present since I can't used it. I left my son with my cousins and came to run errands. I called I knew he was answering I asked him for customers service number, owner, or company number, he said, oh that's about the coupon, I said well I just need the number. So he said well I'm the only person you will ever talk, do you want my cell phone number which I have because he had sent it to me before with an employee to take me out, so I said no, I need corporate, or owner number. He replied well I am the district number and I won't give you a number because I'm the only one who you can talk to with, no body else will ever return a call or waste the time to return you call or email. My son loves that spinach pizza and gets coupons all the time from his school. My understanding is, if they send coupons is to bring customers in, but I been in the area 13 years and my son is ten been visiting the same place since I remember. I don't feel welcome there anymore, and don't feel my son will be going with my parents since I will be expecting some rude customer service, how can the employees be train in the best customer service if the District manager had that poor customer service. I will be talking to whom ever I need to talk to with at my son school so they don't give away the coupons anymore , because I don't want another family going to an embarrassment. I do have a way to pay, I use what I'm giving. And other families may not have economically the way to answer and will have to walk away hungry with their kids. Since I will not be expecting anyone else to be concerned about this matter, just want to share it with the community. By the way, I worked 15 years managing restaurants and retail stores. I know what customer service should be like, and how to treat clients. I for sure is not ethnical trying to date clients. I dont give much attention to it, but brought it up so he knows who I am and how many clients have come with me and soon to be ex clients. Thanks Mr Jonathan for you attention...
Read moreI am a vegan, so as such I always order a pizza with no cheese, all the veggies loaded up (3X for each topping: onions, mushrooms, green peppers, olives), and I ask that the toppings completely cover the pizza dough right out to the edge of the crust with no dough showing. I also ask for extra pizza sauce as the pizza needs the extra moisture due to the lack of cheese. They recently introduced a method of making the crust tastier by slathering it with garlic butter after the pizza comes out of the oven, and I made it clear that they should not brush garlic butter on my pizza crust (butter is dairy, and I don't eat animal products of ANY kind). I'm happy to report that the staff always makes the pizza exactly as I ask. I always special order my pizzas, and the pizzas therefore always arrive at my table hot, fresh, and very tasty. I am a small person (5' 5", 120 pounds), but I have a HUGE appetite; I typically end up eating three or four pizzas in one sitting, all for the one low buffet price. I always take advantage of the coupon on the back of the cash register receipt, which gives you a special price for your next pizza if you go online and take a brief survey. Here's a hint on how to save some more money: when I bring guests to Cici's, I always make sure that each person orders separately, and not as one group on a single receipt. That way you get several receipts for the visit, and each of those receipts will have that money-saving coupon on the back for each survey filled out online. If you get just one receipt for your entire group, you only get one money-saving coupon, which is what you don't want -- you want to maximize the number of coupons you get. I love their pizza, and I would pit it against Russo's New York Style pizzeria across the road on the south side of Highway 646, and it is certainly as good as Papa John's. It is miles ahead of Domino's and light years ahead of Pizza Hut (worst pizza in town, by the way). I hope this review helps, especially for those of you who are vegan and therefore don't eat animal products of any kind. One more thing: the pizza sauce contains no oil, which is fantastic as I do not eat food containing any kind of oil either. Their ingredients list on the website shows that the pizza dough contains less than 2 per cent oil, and I'm willing to live with this to have a...
Read moreCame at 9pm on a Sunday. Figured an hour before close wasn’t too egregious especially since we were only planning to pig out for about 20min since we were on a time crunch. We were treated like absolute inconveniences. A complete contrast from our usual service during the day. No greetings, no smiles and no typical “bye, thank you” that we have become so accustomed to. The female assistant manager (maybe, she was in a different top than the others but acted as if she wasn’t trained properly for the position) was absolutely rude and made it very known that we were not welcome. No eye contact, kind of a nose-up attitude, not welcoming at all. My boyfriend politely asked if we could connect a table and the female manager practically ignored him, I guess out of frustration? The body language was awful. Everyone felt it. Walking out was even awkward the female and male manager (Jonathan) were grouped up with some of the other employees and seemed more invested in complaining about us amongst themselves instead of the typical “bye, thank you” we get. Was even more obvious because I seen him pointing at some of my family that was walking ahead, I was behind. I used to work with him about a decade ago and wouldn’t put the behavior past him.
If I wasn’t so upset with the way we were treated, I would add a star for the very sweet Hispanic lady who was doing the most cleaning and still kept a professional attitude although I’m sure she was ready to speed through that last hour and go home like the others. She was very helpful and smiled, held the restroom door open for me and my kiddos after she had finished mopping and encouraged us to be careful on the...
