I'm fairly new in the area, and I've been struggling to find a good hobby store that's at least somewhat close to me.
I don't think I need to look any further.
The staff here have always been very accommodating and friendly whenever I visit. My wife and I have gotten D&D books, board games, some dice and lots of painting supplies.
I was really excited to see the different painting brands they carry in store: Citadel, Army Painter, Scale 75, AK, and Vallejo. Nice selection of hobby tools and brushes as well.
I was a bit disappointed in their lack of "blister packs" for GW: HQ, elite, special characters, etc. I've been assured that anything can be ordered, and I will probably take them up on that at some point. But impatient hobbyist me, wants the little plastic spaceman now. Which is more my fault than any of theirs.
As someone with a major disability, I can confidently say that I could navigate this shop super easily if I were using my wheelchair. It's an inside corner store, so much like the Tardis, it is indeed bigger on the inside. With tables in the back, a private gaming room, and I think a bathroom, but I don't honestly remember.
The place is friendly, well lit, clean, and doesn't stink. Anyone who's ever spent time in a gamestore will know why those things are...

My friend was getting married the next day. His desire for a "Bachelor Party" was to play some D&D with his buds.
I'm from out of town, as were the rest of us, aside from the Groom. We all fell in love with the place. One friend wound up loading up.
There's a WIDE selection for everything "nerd" lol.
I, in particular, was very excited to see their Gundam models. With everything from lower-grade models to very excellent and highly detailed models, I wish I didn't need to get on a plane to return home and could have purchased one or two.
We had a mission, though, so we gathered what we needed. Several members in the party did not have die sets, so I perused the wide selection. Once again, everything from $5 sets, all the way up to much more stylized and expensive sets.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and it was quite nice to see the gaming area full of friends gathering to play together.
We got everything we needed and my friends and I had a wonderful time.
I only wish there were a location where I live in...
Read moreTony and staff run an excellent store. I frequently take my family here for a day of board gaming and to pick up some paint or new title. They usually have demos of new games and a pretty decent library to pick from. (they do rentals too). The prices are very reasonable when compared to the mark ups that a lot of Hobby stores have. Most importantly the store itself is well organized, fully stocked and easy to navigate.
The gaming space is also very inviting. Even with Warhammer tournaments, Magic players etc, my family has plenty of space to set up a game and enjoy ourselves. Whats more, staff will stop by to help with rules questions or just check in to say hi.
We travel from Barre VT and it's well worth the trip every time. Highly recommended,...
