Michaels — Local services in Lebanon

One of multiple Michael's locations I've been to, this particular store has a particularly large selection of products and is complimented by the semi-helpfulness of the Michael's app.

It was nice to be able to scan the barcode on products that were not priced, nor have to go look for an employee or a price checker on an endcap.

Even with that, employees were not too hard to find if questions were had, but also not obnoxious or intrusive and rather left me to my browsing when I said I wasn't sure what I had in mind.

I was told about the virtual store map on the aforementioned app, however for a store of such size, it was really much to vague to be of use other than to find a general area in which a product group could be found.

I found it frustrating that many of the items in the "weekly ad" did not have signs, as well as the number of occasions of which I saw the same product priced differently in two different parts of the store.

With all this being said, if my "wallet" had a bit more in it and my living space a bit more room, I imagine I would have purchased much more than I ended up doing so.

The employees were friendly; both those working on the sales floor and those handling the registers. I don't recall meeting a single grumpy person (that worked there) my traveling companion really "should" know by now that I can spend hours in a craft store.

This is not the usual Michael's I frequent, given that which is closest to where I live. However I definitely will make a concerted effort to stop at this particular Michael's location again when I am in the area again. I sure would be thrilled if my local Michael's...

I am writing in regards to an employee that you have by the name of Chrissy, hopefully I have that correct. At any rate this arrives late to you as my experience shopping at this location happened the week of February 25, I also cannot find the receipt that I wrote her name on, ugh!

The reason for the delay is due to the death of my Mom, the reason for my visit to this Michaels was in regards to organizing her service. I am truly grateful that I and my siblings ran into Chrissy, actually she ran into us. Not only did she greet us at the door but she assisted us in helping to decide on multiple items from frames to frame stands, offered suggestions and then proceeded to assist us in finding other items to make my Mom's service one to remember. She did this with such cheerfulness, kindness and considerate courtesy not knowing the real reason for being there that day. My only hope is that someone knows what an asset she is to this location and Michael's overall.

Fairly well stocked and organized Michael's, though yarn selection was a little disappointing in terms of varieties. A lot of colors but mostly just regular polyester worsted weight and fluffy chunky yarn for blankets. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they have a small but respectable selection of sewing supplies, including fat quarters and a few jelly rolls, so if you're already at Michael's for something else you might not need to drive across town to go to JoAnn's for sewing stuff. Took one star off because some of the aisles and displays feel a little cramped, like there's 15% less space between everything so somewhat less breathing room especially when there's pallets of boxes for restocking.
