Emily, the Print Center employee at this store is one of the most unpleasant customer service people one can imagine. Including today's visit, I have had the unpleasant and annoying experience of dealing with her on three separate occasions. So, here I am. Writing this review in hopes of someone looking into this issue.
When you walk up to the Print Center counter, Emily sees you, she looks at you yet completely ignores you. Instead of a polite and welcoming "How may I help you?" she looks at you with a rude facial expression that makes you just want to leave the store! When you ask her a question, the easiest answer for her is "I don't know!". So, tell me why do I, or any other customer should be subject to her nasty conduct?
Today, I went to the store to print two 8"x6" flyers and have the laminated. I printed the two pages at the self-serve printer and took them to the counter to have her laminate them. Although she saw me, she continued her small talk with another employee as if I was invisible. Finally, she decided to walk over and take my order. When she got done with the lamination, instead of bringing my order to the counter, she stood in the back and continued her conversation with the same employee. Finally, I said, "Guys, I am sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I really need to pay and leave."
So, she brought the laminated pages to the counter and to my disappointment, they were riddled with air bubbles. I pointed out the issue to her, and she said that is just the way laminates are. Now, I have done enough lamination at some other self-serve stores to know that air bubbles occur when the lamination machine has not reached the proper temperature. Anyway, I was not going to argue with her and did not have time to redo the order. When she realized what a poor job she had done, she said, "I am not going to charge you!"
I picked up the laminated pages and was walking away from the counter when I heard her loudly saying, "The next time you should place your order online!" That did it, as if her nasty attitude, rudeness, and poor work quality were not enough, now she wanted to yet take another jab at me as I was walking away. I turned around and schooled her on how she should be nicer to customers before I left the store in utter disgust and disappointment.
Going forward, I will avoid going to that store at all costs. I hope the management cares enough to have a...
Read moreI live in Bridgewater, VT so the closest place for print jobs is the Staples in Lebanon. I placed my very easy one page print order on line on Wednesday and received a confirmation that it was ready to pick up on Wednesday night. I went to Staples on Thursday to pick up my one page print order at 11:20 am. The kid working the copy area was helping an elderly lady. Once he was done with her, he helped a gentleman that had a package to mail. After that he walked away and he started helping other people in the front of the store. Not one person in the print/copy area and the line was building both on the counter for print services and in the area where packages get mailed. After 10 minutes a Staples worker comes and tells me that they are not doing any customer service at the counter and proceeds to help the people who were shipping packages. I believe his name is David and he was very rude. I told him I just had one page to pick up and he said he no one could help. Another customer behind me walked away. So are you a shipping company or a printing/office supply company? Why have online printing services if no one is present when it's ready for pick up? I came back 2 hours later and someone was able to give me my one page document. There are plenty of post offices, fedex's and UPS around, your main focus should be print services and...
Read moreWent to have four placemats laminated. Employee didn't seem to know the product required to do that.
Asked if I wanted to have it done now. No other customers. Two other coworkers (boss? New Trainee?)
Those coworkers seemed uninterested in checking in with her. She was uninterested to ask them any clarifying questions. Further hemming and hawwing promoted my question if her shift was over and she was trying to get out of work. "No I'm trying to get some water."
I'm being pushed off so an employee can get water. I don't understand the employee dynamic in that department but it was sad.
Left with one laminated placemat. May or may not be done in the correct product. Second placemat ruined in lamination.
No charge. No help. No solution.
Honestly isn't lamination the easiest thing done in that department? I'm shocked this employee...
