GameStop — Local services in Lebanon

They closed the doors at 8:05 pm… according to google they closed at 9:00 pm… After driving 40 minutes for a copy of cod waw for the ps3.

So I decided on Friday, June 14th that I wished to played Call of Duty World at War for nostalgia purposes on the ps3 with my girlfriend… As I approached the store at approximately 8:05 pm, the one employee rudely closed the door on my face, and told me that they were closed and that I needed to leave their property immediately. I found this odd and unwelcoming, so I confronted the manager as they were walking out of the store and I asked why it said google that they closed at 9pm and questioned why they were closing a whole hour early than what Google had stated? The manager told me “we are inadequately staffed tonight, and we cannot open the registers because they are closed down for the night, so we cannot sell you the game that you want.” I looked around to my surprise to see no customers leaving, nor entering the store…

I never imagined that this was how I’d be treated by the staff and company… Especially on a slow night like this.

It’s hard not to believe that they closed the store an hour early due to pure laziness. I recommend Just Press Play, over gamestop any day...

I wish I knew his name off the top of my head cuz he's wonderful to my son and I. We shop at the one on Bowman st. when we call or go in and he's there I know my son's questions are going to get answers and we are getting awesome service!! He's really good with people(customer service) and has patiences, and always goes over and beyond with us. Some of the other employees not to crazy about really idk who he is but the one time he waited on us and kind of seemed to me like he just wanted to ring us up and for us to leave didn't really want to keep answering my son's questions. So basically for the most part we come out of the store happy...

Hours are completely wrong on here, and they sometimes just close at mid day for two whole hours. Really annoying on a release day when I try to go to the store twice for it just to be closed without any indication online, and none of the employees answer the phone so I can't even cancel the pre order. This isn't even including my previous experiences where they sold me a broken controller (then had me pay 15 for a new one even though I had a warranty) and sending me the complete wrong game from the one I ordered. This store is a joke, and it's easy to see why gamestops everywhere...
