Pizza Hut — Restaurant in South Lebanon Township

This review is not really about the staff at this Pizza Hut as I only do carry outs. The Pizza Hut App and Website are very frustrating! They frequently have issues that waste a lot of the customers time because the website does not work correctly.

Pizza Hut sent me an email that if I buy a pizza I would receive a free large one. After the order, the free pizza did not appear in my account. A few days later I received an email with a "Redeem" button for the free large pizza.

Clicking on the redeem button took me to my account online, but there was no free pizza listed! I looked under orders, account, profile, deals, etc. but nothing was there.

I started a chat with a gentleman who was nice enough asking for specifics on my order. I had hope he could straighten out the mess. He said since this was a promotion he would have to "escalate" this and I could expect an answer in 24 to 48 hours! I wanted a pizza tonight, not wait 2 days!!!

I've heard from Pizza Hut staff that many people have issues with both the App and Website. I can confirm this. Now I understand why there are often NO CARS at pizza hut when I drive past or visit...

Went in early evening on a Friday. Place was empty, when someone finally came to the front and we asked if we seat ourselves, she told us that " we don't serve you, you have to order at the counter then sit where ever. " (Tone suggested we were stupid for not knowing this and we were bothering her) We placed out order and asked about drink again answered us like we were idiots, gesturing to the cooler with bottled sodas. We were handed two paper plates and thankfully a stack of napkins, as I had to clean our table (any we would have chose needed wiped off) We had to get up and and retrieve our order after they yelled that it was ready. Pizza was in a pizza box... not the pan like us old timers wete grew up on. Bread sticks were NOT what they used to be, bagged and a tiny cup of marinara. Pizza tasted good and was hot.... only positive out of the entire experience. Very disappointed, most likely a lot of changes due to the pandemic 4 years ago, but we may have accepted it, if it were not for the lackluster service. Normally I enjoy pizzahut’s pizza. Everything is normally on point and thoroughly cooked. This time I ordered and I’m guessing when I placed my order an error had occurred while making it because I could swear I ordered a pizza along with the other things I had ordered. The pizza person comes and gives us everything BUT the pizza. So I called an apparently it seems that the order had not been made. However I felt as though they thought I was lying when I had explained what happened. I have no problem paying I wasn’t trying to get a pizza off of them. So even though I was upset I went and purchased the pizza I wanted anyways. I waited and when the pizza arrived I was very disappointed. It was soggy and it wasn’t cooked all the way. You could literally see the white in the dough. And comparing it to the breadsticks you could tell it wasn’t cooked because the breadsticks were crispy and flaky as to where the pizza was literally tearing apart while trying to pull out a slice.
