China Wok Restaurant — Restaurant in Lebanon

I order for delivery every other week, at least. Never once had a problem. Ordered the other day for lunch. Got 2 broccoli and chicken with pork friend rice, and 2 chicken and mixed veggies with pork friend rice. Had put special instructions as to put veggies in separate container as my son doesn't eat them so I would. It came, and as my son wasn't home yet, I wanted to keep it warm. So he got home later than expected (almost 2 hours later) and when I opened my food, the "veggies" weren't in a separate container, had 2 pieces of carrots in it, mixed with mushrooms and peppers. Never had mixed veggies with mushrooms, nor call that mixed veggies. My sons allergic to mushrooms so I never would have gotten that. When I called to get a refund, she proceeded to tell me how I was irresponsible and how it was her fault that she didn't read it, but refused to give me the money back unless I gave her the food back. Legally after its in my possession, I'm not giving it back. So I told her I want my money back, she sent driver out, handed me half of the money I paid for the 2 meals, (5.99 each so $12) so I got back $6 and was told on the phone when the guy got here that that's all she's giving me and to never order there again. I ordered food here on Saturday 7/13/24 and they sent it to me completely wrong. I ordered general Tso's shrimp and seafood fried rice. They sent some weird Chicken with mushrooms and peanuts and pork fried rice. I called them and said my order is wrong. They sent a manager to my house to give me the correct general tso's combo. Then once I got in the the house I noticed the rice was pork fried rice again and not seafood. So I call back and say it's still wrong and the lady just kept yelling things and barely let me talk. I told her I want seafood fried rice that's what I paid for. They said we're out of seafood. I said why the hell did you not tell me that when I first order? They said if we're out of something we just replace it for something else. Who does that??? Then I noticed they charged me for seafood fried rice which is more but gave me pork fried rice. I had to ask 3 times to get a receipt. Now I know why because they're being deceitful and charging people for higher priced items. I told the lady I will never order here again and she said oh sorry and hung up. Worst Chinese food experience I ever had. Shame on...

Went there last night (2/14) for dinner with my dad. First time in the restaurant itself, but we'd been ordering for years before we moved. Going to preface my review by saying jt jt (the most recent apart from mine) shouldn't be trusted. Dude wanted Sesame chicken with no sesame seeds. They tried to offer him General Tso's, but he insisted he wanted sesame. They got it wrong, yeah, but they offered to replace it if he returned the food. He argued with and berated the staff for an entire hour and a half and was very rude. I felt really bad for the people working last night.

As for the place itself, a little dingy. Not exactly atmospheric, but once we had the food, that didn't really matter. Staff was polite and friendly (if a bit frazzled, though understandable considering what they were dealing with). I ordered a combination plate with sweet and sour chicken and a plate of dumplings. All very good. Portions were filling. Had to get my dumplings in a container to go, but it wasn't a problem. Enjoyed the experience overall. Probably would have enjoyed it more if not for other customers being rude....
