I was in harbor freight today and I was appalled at the way the manager Michael talked to one of his associates! He was very rude and abrasive! His words were "what the F are you doing here?" To me I was in shock because how does a manager talk to an employee like that and still continue to work there! There was a store full of customers at this time and I was just in disbelief! As a manager he should have handled the situation a lot better and this honestly disgusts me. I can't help but think what if my children were with me I try my best to keep them from that type of language but for a manager to talk that is just awful! There is no excuse what so ever! I hope that his boss sees this and addresses the issue because as of now harbor freight will no longer receive my business nor the business of my family. Good and cheap tools, I've been a customer for a few years now. But today, I tried to return some items that I bought a few days ago and I really don't need them, it's an air compressor and other accessories. But the cashier told me, that she couldn't give me cash for my return and she was going to give me a gift card instead. I kept all my stuff in the trunk of my car in their unopened boxes ever since I bought them. I guess I get stuck now, with merchandise that I might not ever use. It really sucks,not to get your cash back when you return something you don't need, specially when you have the original receipt for the purchase. I visited here a couple days ago and looking for a couple of Specific tools I need to complete a project. I was working on, and the staff here went well beyond what they are expected to. In helping me locate them and gave me some general. How to knowledge on how to use them? What I should expect as the results, That's not really something you're used to saying in this time and date of economy, and the aspect of everybody wants instant gratification and they want it. Now they don't want to wait. They don't want to hear it, why you don't have it? They don't want to Here, anything other than here's what you're looking for so it was a pleasant shock coming here, and people actually taking the time out of their day to Help me with everything I needed..
