Extra Space Storage — Local services in Lee

2 big issues that I have raised and none have been resolved whatsoever.

1)Initially moving my items into this unit, I noticed one or two dead cockroaches. Let them know, laid traps and caught more. Management said they would lay a trap and if they get anything, they'd go from there. They laid a sticky outside of the unit and caught a bird. Meanwhile, I continued to notice activity and reported it and I was told there is nothing to be done. So, there's that. At least one of the building sections has pests, identified as oriental cockroaches. 2) Having this unit for just over a year, my rates have doubled from $180-$360 dollars. Increases every 3 months or so. After getting a notice that my bill would be $335/month, i brought up the issue of aggeessive rate increases and was told they could bring it down by roughly 20 dollars.... I get my bill and it was actually 25 or 30 more than what I believed it had been raised to, landing at 360/month. Putting me in-between a rock and a hard-place. I have tried speaking with management and even tried getting ahold of corporate at this point, and nothing. So, here is my experience at this...

I’ve taken way too long to write this; As moving has been CRAZY!! However throughout it alllll - The woman who helped us, (the associate manager) Wendy Brown was absolutely PHENOMENAL to work with!! Moving is already SO stressful, SO for our experience with Wendy & Life Storage to be so effortless, comfortable, thorough, quick & painless made a worlds difference. Not only was she incredibly warm, talkative, & friendly - She also went way above and beyond; Showing us a good number of different sizes so that we were POSITIVE that we were choosing what was right for us. No frustration or annoyance, when we took her up on each offer; She was just truly happy to help. The units are all clean & DRY!! (Due to a bump up in the front part of the storage.) Also great location, right off the Lee traffic circle.. They have an amazing 1/2 off your first 3 months right now!! (Though typically a bit more expensive than most surrounding places, I’d still recommend this place as they’re security system is as comforting as the customer service you’ll receive. Thank you for all of your help & warmth...

BEST BEST AND BEST STORAGE COMPANY EVER!! The staffer here are always so kind and generous. Excellent customer service! The price they charge is absolutely incredible!! I was late bringing back the moving truck and when I got it back they were closed. And felt absolutely horrible about it. I called them to know I'll bring the key to them the next day, which I did. On the day I returned the keys, Wendy helped me. I could have cried because felt so bad. Instead of being upset because I was late returning the truck, Wendy was an angel. She made me not feel so bad, and said not to worry about it. And for her care and excellent customer service, I had to give her a huge hug. As long as I live here, I'll never go to another storage unit besides this one. You are all absolutely incredible!!...
