Anthony R and the other gentleman (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) we’re a great help to me. I went in with an iPhone X that had recently come down with the dreaded BSOD. I was bummed knowing I was about to drop a bunch of money to be able to walk out of the store that day with a working phone, and so was a little hopped up on punchy and sarcastic humor.
Anthony and co. took this energy in stride and kept me smiling through the process. They listened to and understood my budgeting concerns and worked to find the best options for me — from calling a sister store to check their inventory, researching promo options to save money, and on a superficial level, finding the best color phone to fit my style — so I walked out of the store with a phone I really like.
I really appreciate encounters full of healthy banter that is entertaining while still professional and informative, and feel like it’s not common to find in the retail world.
Other notes: -This is the first time I have gone into a shop to get a new phone transferred over and didn’t wait long at all (~2 min) to be helped. -Overall, a pleasant, efficient process. -Clean store / store front, comfortable seating for waiting and while sitting at the counter. -Employees wore masks and non-vaxxed customers need masks to enter 👍🏼 -Easy to navigate to, didn’t expect to find one in Lee! After calls were made to corporate on my behalf, things eventually arrived to a solution. Thank you Lee Verizon for caring about your customers and for following up on this particular matter.
After I needed a new phone in January, I was told by the store manager that I could upgrade my data for the same price as I had been paying. I was super happy with my new phone and my entire experience until I received my new bill from Verizon which was more than DOUBLE, almost 3 times, the amount I was previously paying. After much back and forth and countless hours on hold with corporate, it was finally discovered that I was receiving a discount on a grandfathered plan. Months later, I am still dealing with this nightmare issue and am one more outrageous bill away from leaving Verizon all together. Read moreMost of the time people only feel obligated to mention a poor experience or problem they have had with a guest experience. This is not the case with Terry at The Wireless Zone in Lee, NH. I have been buying phones from them since they had their office in Dover. Terry understands what it means to provide excellent customer service. Rarely do you have those experiences when dealing with the annoying (to me anyway) task of buying or upgrading a phone. Terry has always made the process fun and easy. He is also very good at making sure I get the best deal. He takes the time to lay out every possible option for me. Even the ones that are not so obvious. Whether I have had to get out of an existing contract, add a line, or replace a broken device, he is able to make it affordable. It is hard these days to find a person dedicated to taking care of people and truly looking out for them.
