I wanted to like this place because of how close it is to home but unfortunately we had a terrible visit and I ended up leaving without my nails being done.
I asked for a dip manicure with tips and for my 3 year old to get her nails painted. Once we arrived the first thing they had us do was wash our hands which I thought was great! Next they sat us down and the woman started working on my nails.
Things were going okay until she started to dip my nails in the clear dip without adding the tips on my nails I had asked for. Once she started I had even asked her if she was going to add the tips after to which she replied yes. Since this was just a clear dip I didn’t think much of it even though that’s not how anyone has ever done my nails in the past I just thought I would trust her process. She then goes to add the color and I asked her again if she was going to do the tips and she replied this time with “oh you wanted tips!?” I told her yes and even reminded her that I had asked her a few minutes ago too if she was going to add them and she told me yes.
Now she has to file off the clear dip she did. She started on my pinky and it BURNED. I’ve had my nails done many times and know this is not a good sign. I flinched and said ouch and even let her know it was really hot and it hurt. She moved onto the next nail and the same thing! I had to have her stop. It was clear at this point that she had filed my nail way too much and actually burned me.
I told her Nevermind and asked if she would just paint my daughters nails as she was so excited to be there. She painted my daughter’s nails and that went okay. Once her nails were finished I had another nail tech try to bring me to her station. I told her I was all set and that I wouldn’t be getting my nails done. Then another nail tech came over so at this point I have 3 nail techs surrounding me in my chair and I am feeling very uncomfortable. I explained again to the third nail tech that I was all set and that I would not be having my nails done today as my real nail was filed way too much and I was burned. Having anymore work done on them would have been a mistake.
I went to go pay for my daughter and they insisted on not charging me for her which was nice but now I’m left with unfinished nails that are half dipped and a burned nail...
Read moreThe person doing my pedicure tried to get me to upgrade and get gel done, I had already upgraded, they were persistent. After I said no to gel upgrade and a manicure twice, the person doing my pedicure had a weird vibe. She cut one of my toes badly enough that I made noise, and then two toes later cut another toe. Did not slow down how fast they were cutting at my my, even after cutting two of them. And the filing, was hitting the toe skin too; there were a few parts of the pedicure that were painful. The first toe they cut hurt for like an hour after. Whatever stinging liquid she put on the toe she cut, made the nail polish peel off. And the cut is still red and getting redder. The tools they used were carried over from the previous person getting a pedicure, so they definitely were not sterilized. The first toe she cut still hurts a day later and as mentioned before, is getting redder. I really hope it doesn’t get infected.
I feel bad writing this. But, it’s the worst cut I’ve gotten at a pedicure, and usually nail polish doesn’t start to chip a day later. Half of one of my toes doesn’t have nail polish on it... for a 35$ pedicure, not including tip, it’s not a great product. It was enough of an experience that I don’t know if I trust getting pedicures anywhere after this. That’s how concerned I am about this cut getting infected.
This review is for customers as much as it is for...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. Went in for a pedi today. I should have left shortly after I sat down. It was not very crowded and I was seated at the tubs right away. The woman turned on the water and then walked away. I sat with my feet in the tub as the water was getting hotter and hotter. Finally, the woman giving a pedicure in the next chair over looked at me pulling my feet out and she turned off the water. Eventually the woman doing my pedi came back. She rushed through every step in the process. My old polish was not removed completely. The tools she used were not taken out of any kind of sealed plastic bag or even out of a disenfectant solution. She just reached in to the drawer and took them out. The tools she used on me were RINSED off in the sink in the middle of my pedi and put right back in to her drawer. Not disenfected in any way. She never wore gloves at all. She only put one coat of colored polish on my nails. There was polish on my skin. I am angry at myself for risking my health and not getting up and walking out at the first sign of a problem. When I walked up to pay, I did tell the woman taking my money that this was the worst pedi I’ve ever had. She said “sorry” but that was all. I...
