I got engaged last week (yay) but my ring was just a tad too big. After searching online for a bit on Monday morning (09/16), I stumbled upon Munn’s Diamond Gallery. I called and spoke to Chris, the owner, who was nothing but polite and helpful. Also, his prices were extremely reasonable, especially compared to the big chain jewelry stores. I asked if I could come in that night for him to look at it, to which he responded “absolutely!” I brought my ring in and he explained in detail the different scenarios that could happen if I was sure about wanting to resize my ring. He sized my finger, and it turns out I’m an entire size smaller than what I thought! My ring isn’t a traditional engagement ring. It is a beautiful ring made up of a moss agate center stone and accents of opal, alexandrite, and moissanite. With that being said, the stones are very heat sensitive and delicate. He told me he had to double check with his goldsmith to make sure he was able to do it, and that he would call me with any news that night. Just a few hours later, he called to tell me they would be able to do it, and they would have it ready by the end of day Thursday (09/19)! I was very nervous to not have my ring with me, but I was confident that it was in good hands. I went to pick my ring up today (09/19) a little before 5pm and it was ready. It fit perfectly and each stone is in tact. I am so grateful for the Munn family and all of the other staff that work at Munn’s Diamond Gallery. I would give them 10 stars if I could! My husband bought my heart-shaped engagement ring in Philadelphia 18 months ago. I stopped in Munn’s last week to have them look at why the diamond kept snagging on everything. Chris took a look, asked if he could fix the prongs that had moved, and polished my ring — all free of charge. He explained what happened and assured me the prongs were safe and I wouldn’t lose the stone. After I left, I still didn’t feel good about the original prongs moving and went back to Munn’s days later. Chris offered to order a new mount with a gallery rail for me to see if I wanted to consider re-setting the stone. I loved the idea, got to keep my original band, and in just 3 days everything was done. I also asked my wedding band be soldered to the re-set ring. I am so happy with the outcome! I feel so much better, and my rings are set perfectly and look so amazing! This was such a better choice than going back to Philly, waiting for it to be done and shipped, and paying double the cost. We had an excellent experience with Munn's Diamond gallery purchasing our engagement ring and wedding bands with them. They were not pushing with us and were comfortable with our price range. We were nervous as we never had an experience buying expensive jewelry before and they were extremely helpful and made us comfortable with the entire process. The owner went above and beyond with helping me recreate my grandmothers engagement ring from the 1900s. He called many jewelers and gave me options and my dream engagement ring!
