West Shore Diner — Restaurant in Lemoyne

my friends and i are super easy to please but we all rated this as the worst restaurant experience we've ever had-- almost hilarious how bad it was. they were out of half the food people were trying to order but we didn't mind-- again we're laid back. i ordered a vegetarian egg dish straight off the menu, nothing special order about it, and when it came out, it had ham in it. the server was curt (to put it nicely) when i brought up that my order was wrong-- as if it were my fault. so i declined when she offered to have the kitchen remake it. don't need anyone with random resentment towards me preparing my food. when the bill came out, she said my dish had been removed from the bill, but there was a mysterious $6 "tax" added to our $20 total. we are the type to tip over 20% even when service is bad-- she did not need to be dishonest. we still paid without arguing and then left completely bewildered at the 4 star rating and wondering what in god's name we did to deserve such horrible treatment. btw the place was absolutely filthy too. definitely heard rats in...

I will preface this by saying I did not come here to eat I was picking up a delivery order a few days ago. This place is disgusting. First of all I didn’t even realize this place was open due to the state of the outside. Their sign is so faded and falling apart you can’t read it. The building (outside) is rusted, worn, and has plastic on the windows it literally looks like an abandoned building. Walked in thinking maybe it’s better inside…dives usually are…it was filthy absolutely gross dirty floors, counter and smelled like mildew. I got the nastiest look from the one lady behind the counter just from walking in. Another lady behind the counter was very friendly and greeted me. Visited here this morning for a late breakfast. My boyfriend ordered a cheese steak sandwich but was given a cheese steak omelette… he said it was still really good but unfortunately not what he actually ordered… we thought the prices on the menu were great prices! But then came to find out the prices we were actually charged didn’t match up with the price on the menu!
