My wife's favorite quilt shop in the KC area. She's been shopping here for almost two years now and has always had outstanding service and everyone is always super helpful. My wife hasn't taken a class here yet (because she's very socially shy), but she plans too. This last trip, she was looking for English Paper Piecing shapes and had no idea what she was looking for. Another customer went to one of the class teachers to get my wife some help. Unfortunately, we did not get the teachers name, but she went way out of her way to help my wife find what she needed and even go online to order the additional things my wife couldn't find in the store! This place was phenomenal! If you are a quilter this is where you need to shop. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and more than ready to help but never pushy. They have a wide assortment of fabric including new lines, batiks, retro, seasonal, baby, flannel, a large color selection, and even a beautiful collection of wool. They have kits ready for quilts that are on display. A large menu of classes and a beautiful instructional area to work in. I wasn't in need of thread or notions today but I did notice a wide selection available of both. I went to 3 other stores today before I found this one. Great store for fabric. Their focus is quilting, though they have plenty of beautiful cotton fabrics that can be used for clothing. There are a few apparrel fabrics but it's a very small selection. They also have sewing and quilting accessories, and a section for stitching and felt projects.

They have a good size clearance section at $8/yd. Most fabrics are around $12-13+/yd, but the price of fabric has gone up recently for everyone, not just them. They occassionally have sales, which they advertise when you sign up for the newsletter. Sales are specific,...
