Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lenexa

Worst chipotle I’ve ever been to, will not be back. Order a quesadilla in advance and we got a bowl ordered when we got there. First issue was the girl who took my order. They were all busy talking and laughing with each other that she was clearly annoyed helping us. We asked for extra rice, she gave me less rice than we normally receive without asking for extra, when we asked for her to put more in again she barely scooped a spoonful. Then chicken, I get they won’t give numerous scoops but she gave us a half of a scoop, chicken was nonexistent you would think it was coming directly from her paycheck. The other girl at the register was pleasant but the first one had huge attitude and not friendly at all. When went to get my quesadilla from them that I ordered in the app, I got the wrong order handed, no biggie, took it back and even though the order was marked ready, they had no one’s orders ready. Three of us were standing there with “order ready” and we watched them have to prep all orders. They gave me mine. They were terrible! They were smooshed, asked for peppers IN the quesadilla they put on side, so much cheese so little steak which is outrageous pricing already, three pieces of steaks in one quesadilla and maybe 5 on the other. Was greasy and falling apart. You can see also that the steak was on one half of each side, the other side was tortilla and cheese. Would not recommend this location, go out of your way to find another! Way too...

The worst experience from start to finish! I was in the store mid afternoon, a few scattered guests but not real busy. My order was a bowl with brown rice, pintos, steak, corn salsa ceesec and lettuce. I asked for a LITTLE guac, the kid globbed a heap of it right on the top and smooshed the lettuce right into all of it. I just let it go, knowing I could scrape it off. The girl running the cash register couldn't be bothered to speak other than to announce my total. She barely got my change dumped in my hand before she bent back over, elbows on the counter scrolling through her phone. Did not give me my drink cup or say a word when I went ahead and took one myself. Next, the food. It was terrible! The rice was crunchy! Overcooked, dried out. Every bite, not just an occasional piece or 2. The steak was sawdust. So if the food itself wasn't bad enough...one of the workers then came to take his meal break behind me. Talking on his phone that was on speaker, talking about the dumb customers... You get the picture. I don't know if there was a real adult working, but if so no one was paying...

I really like Chipotle's food. I don't like going to Chipotle. I stopped going to the one on 87th Street in Lenexa because it was always so dirty. The trash cans were over stuffed and the tables were hardly ever cleaned off. I've found 95th Street to be a little better on the cleanliness side (a little bit better), but the service is unpredictable. Today I went in to get a burrito. There were no other customers in line--none. The two people behind the counter never looked at me, let alone say anything to me. One was fulfilling an on-line order, but he could have said "I'll be right with you." The young woman behind the counter was wiping down the metal area around the food trays. She was standing less than three feet away from me, wiping up pieces of rice, and never made eye-contact, let alone say, "We'll be right with you." After two minutes or so, I turned around and left. How different from, say, Jersey Mike's or Culver's or Chik-fil-A, who all make sure their customers are treated with basic respect. I'll go back there I'm sure, but only for the food, not for the...
