I really like this place. Staff are friendly and they will order things to the store on your behalf which is really cool! Good selection for the size of the store, and I'm really glad to have them as an option so close by. They are however radically overpriced on many things - a half pint of organic blueberries should never cost nine dollars for example, and a bunch of organic kale shouldn't cost 5. This is more than double the price of the same quality produce elsewhere and that makes it untenable to purchase with any consistency, which I'd like to do because I like supporting local businesses. I also would love to see the store expand into a larger space so that they can offer a wider variety of products (I can't find organic pita bread anywhere in this county for instance!). As it is, I'm more likely to make the longer drive once a month to stock up on organic items in Waldorf than to come here every week, simply because the selection and prices up there make it much more worth my while. So, great staff, great service, and I'd love to see them grow, but those are the two big things I see as obstacles to their larger success. Fingers crossed they find a way to resolve...

This store is a common stop for my family. They are incredibly helpful in finding supplements and providing a good opinion to help you decide on what to get. The shop is also a good backup in the case we can't find vegetables and such from farms in the area. The specials are nice to review every week. They sell Hu chocolates, Olipop, & Siete which are a few of our favorite brands. Whoever does the hiring makes sure you have personable, kind people to do business with. I have not met any employee who is apathetic, rude, or tries to avoid answering questions or having a simple conversation. The staff are "present," I guess is what I'm trying to say. I'm used to MOM'S because that's what was near me where I used to live. It is true Good Earth Natural organic store is expensive, but I don't care about the price because by the time I drive 80 miles to where I used to go it's cheaper for me to go to Leonardtown. Another thing I want to mention is the fact that whatever I want and they don't have they'll go out of their way to find it for me. The employees are super nice and that's what I look for in a business. When I'm treated like a good customer no matter how I'm dressed I'm true to that establishment. Much success...
