Gingerbread brunch after church? Say less. Ava and I had the BEST time today at @antoinettesgarden in Leonardtown! From the stunning holiday décor to the divine food and flowing drinks, everything was chef’s kiss. I had the Berry Explosion, Ava sipped on her personalized mocktail, and we danced, sang, and brunch-ed our hearts out. Huge shoutout to Vernon & Liz for creating such a beautiful experience. ✨ Ava & Marcia approved! ✨ If you’re looking for brunch in Southern Maryland, put this on your must-visit list—and tell them we sent you! 💬 Follow for more mom-daughter moments, local gems, food finds, and lifestyle vibes. #GingerbreadBrunch #AntoinettesGarden #LeonardtownMD #momanddaughterdates

We happened upon this place and I’m so glad we did! The food has a lot of love in it. We got the Shrimp and Grits, the Scrapple Platter, a bagel, and Chicken with French toast. Everything is good but the Shrimp and Grits stole the show. The sauce is the best thing I’ve had since my visit to Charleston SC. You can also tell that the bagels are bakery made, not store bought. The mimosas are strong. Highly recommend the strawberry margarita. Jewel-toned furniture and friendly staff. Everyone will check on you and make sure you’re having a good experience. The owner was hanging around and making sure all goes smoothly. I was surprised not to see a bigger crowd but I was happy to have a nice cozy place to have Sunday Brunch. Very chill spot without a ton of hustle and bustle happening.

Excellent service, excellent staff, Chef Hassan personally escorted us to our table, explained the menu and provided some friendly banter. The girls ordered the Southern Comfort French Toast and Chicken, the Shrimp & Grits, and the Shrimp burger sliders, 10s across the board. The food was excellent, fried wings were crispy and seasoned well, the shrimp sauce was flavorful and smooth. Mango Mimosas were a fun change to the traditional selection. We will definitely return and look forward to Cheese steak Thursdays, as Chef Hassan is a Philly native promises an authentic Philly vibe for the culture!

Went in the evening during the week with some women for drinks and a quick bite. Drinks and food were good but interestingly the bartender actually asked somebody in our group if he could help her even though there were several individuals that had been waiting right in front of him at the bar. It was very deliberate. She actually said no these other individuals have been waiting longer than I. Then my husband and I went in for late lunch this past weekend. Service was slow just getting somebody to come to the table. But others were getting service. A group of women came in and sat at the bar 10 minutes after we sat down and they had all their drinks before we even had somebody to ask us if we wanted anything. So it seems like some type of selective waitress/ bartending/ service thing is occurring. Then the waitress/bartender came back 3 times telling me something was no longer available. Then the food was awful. Ordered chicken and waffles. Waffle was overcooked and literally falling apart in little pieces. You literally needed the syrup to get any of it to stick together to eat ... or use a spoon. The chicken was 3 overcooked chicken wings. It was awful. My guess is you should just go for wine and go quite frequently so you are a regular and then they give you preferential treatment. If you are a white person just walking in off the street, you should go elsewhere in Leonardtown. Sweet Bay, the Rex, Slice House, IL Piccolo Morso are all...

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the aesthetic. This is a very unique and welcome place in the Leonardtown Square! Perfect for hanging out on a weekend evening or even for a brunchy type of thing.

I reserve a 5th star simply because the service system seems a little ad hoc/chaotic. There are no instructions to be seated and served or a host(ess) to provide direction and manage guests. Menus are also not clear, as we were given menu options verbally not specified on the awkwardly placed menu boards behind us. Servers seemed very busy with outdoor guests, which made it difficult for those of us inside to get attention for ordering and requesting the check.

I don't want anyone to misunderstand: tge servers were very friendly and polite and we certainly felt welcome, but the biggest factor in determining if we would be repeat customers would be a clearer system for ordering to minimize our confusion as first time customers.

Thanks for a great afternoon, we hope to be...

The place is very well kept and all but one bartender were awesome. Went in on Saturday night around 8. There were 6 people in there. We brought them 15 more guests for a birthday party bar crawl. There was a guy with dreads working the bar and if looks could kill, we would all be dead. He was short with everyone. My wife asked for an espresso martini and his exact words were, “we don’t have that” and walked away. We found out a while later they have a coffee martini. The bartender didn’t even ask if that’s what my wife wanted instead. Most bartended get so excited that money like that walks through the door. He rolled his eyes plenty of times at all the guests that came in. We weren’t obnoxious. Only the birthday girl was even tipsy at that point. I won’t be going back, neither will anyone in my party...
