Leonardtown does it again! 😊 This amazing bakery has a great variety of bread, quiches, tarts, macaroons, and much more. Today was my first time here. I'd come in to pick up a loaf of bread for my stepdaughter, and decided to sit down and enjoy a slice of quiche and a chai latte. Kelly and Sarah were behind the counter, and they were so helpful! Kelly gave me a description of all the items I was interested in. They got me set up with my bread, quiche,, and latte quickly, and directed me to the utensils and napkins. There are lots of tables (both high-top and low). The windows look out onto the town square. It's so cute and homey inside, and it even has a little arcade for kids. They also serve ice cream! This is a win-win, and fits in so nicely with Leonardtown's artsy and relaxed vibe. I highly suggest coming in and spending some quality time with friends or loved ones in this sweet shop. And why not pick up a gift card or two while your here. For my Realtor friends- they can set you up nicely with an Open House snack spread. 😋 Check it out soon, you'll love it!

First time visiting and the selection was great! I liked how it’s a shared space with the ice cream shop. The service was good and there were still a decent selection considering I arrived by lunch. However, all the baked goods I got were underbaked and very doughy/dense. Quality in the croissant and roll were not there. I’d give this place another chance, it might have been an off day with the bakes but it was really unfortunate. Pictures shown: croissant looked pretty nice from the outside and a good flake, but the insides were sad. Same story with the cinnamon roll. Dense and not in a good way, even after reheating for a few seconds.

My wife and I were walking our son downtown today and We stopped in to get some ice cream and suddenly realized there was a bakery too! Oh my gosh, let me tell you the cookies are amazing! So glad we got cookies, cupcakes, and these cinabun things that look so good. We are fairly new to the area and have been wondering where a great local bakery is and we found it! Thank you for the friendly staff and fantastic tasting treats! Can’t wait to come again!

Couldn’t get a “Welcome Home” cake for my husband that is returning from overseas.

I stopped at this location in person to discuss placing a cake order to celebrate my husband coming home from deployment. I have a severe nut allergy and always like to discuss that before placing an order. During my visit I was told the accommodations weren’t problem and the staff seemed happy for me for the reason why I needed the cake. I was even asked how long my husband has been gone. Leaving, I thought my order would be fulfilled. I placed the formal order the same day as my visit, 9 days before I needed the cake.

Two days later I was informed that my order couldn’t be completed based on scheduling and the accommodations that were needed.

Further discussions revealed placing the order 4-6 weeks in advance of the date would have been ideal. Unfortunately while my husband was deployed I wasn’t allowed any contact so there was no way of me knowing during that 4-6 week time frame that I was even going to see him again. His return home was confirmed only a few days before my visit to the shop.

As a military spouse, I try my best to work with the ever changing schedule of the military. I try my best to make sure my husband knows he is loved, celebrated, and I’m excited to see him any chance I get. The distance and communication gets difficult at times.

It is disappointing that this bakery couldn’t be a part of him coming home since serving active duty doesn’t yield confirmed plans far in advance.

Edit in response: I did put an order in via email, that was the “formal order”. In addition it’s not my timeline, I didn’t pick the days. My husband returns to his station the day of our anniversary so he’s only here for about two weeks. My family will not be reunited for...

I’m visiting from North Carolina and our family brought us here as they just moved to the area and wanted to try the bakery. The first day we went we asked if anything was egg free as my daughter is allergic to eggs (caused her eczema) and the girl at the front asked the girl in the back who came out and talked to us and told us the buttered and chocolate croissants had no eggs. We tried both and absolutely loved them. Personally we loved he chocolate more because the flavor between the bread and the chocolate was just amazing! I instantly said I was getting more before we go home. On our last day we stopped in and I bought a dozen chocolate croissants and if you’re curious it was $75. Normally I wouldn’t spend that much on something but these are fresh, home made, and you can tell they put a lot of work into their baked goods. We plan on putting them in the freezer to have whenever we need something delicious. The staff is super friendly and we will definitely be back every time we come to visit my family. The place is super clean and inviting, the small game area was just enough if you have some kiddos that can’t sit still while the family is eating. I was definitely impressed. All their baked goods looked beautiful and delicious and I wish I could try them all and maybe just maybe there will be more egg free options when we come back since it is such a common allergy! If not, I don’t mind getting...
