Just left there and want to say...Kim and Timmy were rocking that place out! Thats right, TWO employees were keeping that place going tonight! The drive thru lane was miles long, people in the dining room. We accidentally hit drive thru on our mobile order and wanted to dine in. When we got in I could see they were crazy busy. Kim let us know they were short staffed, and it would be a bit of a wait, maybe 20-25 minutes. We told her no worries, she gave us our drink cups, and we settled in. Seeing them hustle brought back traumatic memories of working fast food in my youth. As we waited, a woman came in from drive-through to complain about wait time. Kim again explained very nicely that they were short staffed and working as hard as they could. (They really were). Our food came out much faster than 20 minutes, probably close to 12, actually. It was all fresh, well made, and delicious. As we ate yet another woman came in, this time irrate. I could not hear everything she was mad about, but again, it was drive-thru. I heard Kim apologize again and try to explain. To which the customer cursed at her and stormed out. Now I was really having flashbacks; ignorant people not realizing so much is out of your control, you are trying your very best, you need this stupid job, there's only two of you, what more can I do? All of it. I felt for them, that woman was screwed the heck up. I sincerely hope the people I heard and saw complaining can remember a time they are overwhelmed and trying their best during these types of interactions in the future. Before I left, I let Kim and Tim know they were doing an awesome job. They needed to hear that, especially because they freaking were! Keep up the great work you two! Taco Bell franchisee-be happy you have two workers like this, they are hard as...
Read moreETA: Great srrvice at window. Unfortunately we found out though the sign was still showing nacho fries at 3:00 p.m. he did tell us they discontinued today. My kid was totally bummed. He was sick and loves taco bell. The freeze machine still isn't working. Again, the associate at checkout window is a great rep for the team and uber nice and personable : ) The order we placed was yet again wrong. We should know better by now to consistently pull over and check our drive through orders. Yesterday it appeared when we got back to our vacation home that someone decided what to make. The 3 soft tacos ordered had 2 with sour cream, the beef chalupa no tomatoes had tomatoes and the re-added fries didn't have the cheese sauce for my son. The screen of our order was correct as we told the lady before we drove around to pay. There was also no mild sauce in the bag. By the time we had our food, our errands were complete and we wanted to just get back to our home. Well, you can't remove sour cream my son didn't order and dislikes from a soft taco without residuals and I hate tomatoes so pulling them off doesn't fair well as the tomatoes gunk is still in the chalupa. Everything but 1 normal soft taco and 2 cinnamon twists went into our garbage. SERIOUSLY, AT THIS TACO BELL, STOP IN THE PARKING LOT BEFORE YOU LEAVE TO MAKE SURE YOUR ORDER IS WHAT YOU PLACED. The lack of consistency and food quality has continually gone down hill over the past several years. Eta:July 26th-still understaffed store, seemingly friendly employees and still to-date forget at least 1 item always. We don't leave the pickup window until we go through the entire purchases. The store closes randomly with inconsistent times. I believe this is due to the short staffing. There's a $12.00 an hour hire sign at the order...
Read moreLast night was probably the last time I will ever consider eating at Taco Bell for a very long time. We went inside to pickup ab order that was placed online and waited 34 minutes and the cashier told us it was going to be a bit longer. They wasn't busy and the stuff consist of a bunch of teenagers who was playing on their phones and running outside to talk with their friends. Finally after leaving the lobby I went thru the drive through and there was exactly two cars in front of me no one inside and I still waited another 19 minutes behind the two other vehicles. Finally we reached the window and the order still wasn't ready and I waited a bit longer and decided to go back inside the lobby and finally finally my order was ready and the cashier brought it to me and made a remark how she thought I was in the drive through and ask why I decided to come back inside instead of waiting out there. After waiting over an hour on one chicken quesadilla, one steak quesadilla, three tacos, add two fountain drinks I just want to go home. I have to honestly say Taco Bell had absolutely no excuse to make customers wait that long last night they wasn't busy inside the lobby or through the drive-thru and honestly I think that they need to get new management who can control their staff a little bit better and who isn't going to engage in the same activities as the teenagers . I did send in a complaint last night from the mobile app and I plan on calling Monday morning to speak with the store manager and I will also be calling the corporate office to file a complaint as well. It was truly the worst experience of my life when it comes to eating at a fast...
