I went to the Grand Opening of great new Local Yarn Store right in Lexington Center!
They have a lot of my favorites, like Juniper Moon and Malabrigo, and some new wonderful yarns I'll just have to find a project for, like Chibi Paka Chunky Yarn by Ikigai Fiber - they have a gorgeous red and white like a candy cane!
There are also knitted hats, sweaters and other items, including the Blueberry Jam Hat by Alice Dunn Smith that I'll definitely be knitting - she was at the grand opening, and has a number of great patterns - check her out on Ravelry!
They also have a number of beautiful kits that will make great gifts, as well as needles and accessories of all sorts.
I heard they'll be starting classes and sit-and-stitch times in their comfy, bright shop.

I would describe the yarns here as modern and trendy. There were lots of single colored yarns in really pretty colors.
They have Marabrigo and Rowan yarns. They also carry Berroco, which is a good budget-friendly yarn. And they also had yarns for amigurumi.
They just opened in October so it's pretty new. The woman (I assume the owner) was very nice and helpful. I have a feeling I'm going to be back to order yarns for my next project.
