We love the products at Ole Timey Meat Market. However, we have visited 2 times in the last 2 and 1/2 weeks and have been treated rudely by the check out clerk. When we walk in she doesn't speak but is sitting on a stool playing with her cell phone. Today I went in and said I needed 4 boxes of 5-lb sirloin burgers. She pointed to the cooler and said, 4th door. I asked if there was someone that could help me and she gave no response. After making 2 trips to the check out counter she never spoke, I paid for the products and there was no thank you. This happened to my partner 2 1/2 weeks ago and he told me about it. We love the products but really, maybe this person would be happier in a different position. I, myself, have 2 18 year old honor students that would love a job. They can also speak to the customer with a smile and say How May I Help You? and Thank you. ...

OMG! The quality of their products and the variety of meats, sides, vegetables, soups, spices, homemade pimento cheese, sauces, etc, makes the creations that those who can cook well end up with dishes which induce immediate and intense salivation and fierce cravings upon the first whiff, which are only satisfied upon your finally being allowed to devour it all, to the last juicy tender morsel of (for us, steaks, huge, thick, delicious steaks that, the way my nephew cooked them, were so awesome, it was the only steak I've ever been able to eat which wasn't cooked to well done without any pink inside!) steak until there's nothing left to do except to undo your pants, sit back and enjoy the full belly that keeps you smiling until you die off, enjoying the wonderful taste still on your tongue....

It's conveniently located right off Lake Blvd in Lexington and it's very easy to find with the use of a GPS device or Google maps. We decided to stop by this business a few weeks ago, because we was searching for some oxtails.
