Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Lexington

Visited this location on 6-1-24. Had been there before about a year earlier and the place was dirty at that time. This time, it was absolutely filthy. Our experience was very similar to another review I read. Light bulbs burned out and a couple of light fixtures looked like they were ready to fall out of the ceiling. There was food all over the floors and tables. Nothing had been cleaned up. Every other surface in this place (windows, glass case for viewing the ice cream and the monitor screen at the pay station) looked like it had been wiped down with milk. Everything had a milky haze to it. Could barely even see the ice cream. The one girl who waited on us was the only one that seemed to care. Wish I had caught her name so I could keep her from being lumped in with the other workers that stayed in the back squealing and playing around like a bunch of school children on a playground the whole time. Definitely won’t be back and from what we experienced, it won’t matter anyway. I’d be surprised if this place is still open by the end...

Walked in with over 20 minutes until closing…on a Friday night. Staff had covered up ice cream and already begun closing the store. There was a line of people ahead of and behind me. I understand being annoyed when people come in near close but there was still plenty of time to scoop ice cream and giving visible attitude to paying customers is ridiculous. If my child wants ice cream after a movie on a Friday I should be able to walk in and order it during open store hours. We love cold stone and take our family there often since we live right down the road, but this experience was really frustrating and disappointing. We also were taking our ice cream to go considering the time, however, if we wanted to stay and eat we wouldn’t have felt welcome with the attitudes...

If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. The stone had been turned off well before closing. We weren't even acknowledged when.we walked into the place. The customer service was bad and that's putting it nicely. I specifically pointed at the posted of what I wanted and said the name of it. She scooped just the ice cream without making it the way I requested. When I said that I wanted the cheese cake pumpkin spice. I got the answer that the stone was turned off and she could put the toppings on top. The attitude was one of not caring at all about customer service. I will be contacting the manager and will let everyone know our experience. This was the poorest representation of the Cold Stone brand I...
