Laurel Highlands Olive Oil — Local services in Ligonier

Okay is it a bit too much to say this is my favorite store?

I thought this would be a little kitchen store and not the golden nugget of the laurel highlands.

First, the staff is so nice. The two ladies there were so knowledgeable on everything they had in the store and were immensely helpful with telling me what they had and where. I wish I could have that level of service everywhere. 10/10.

Second. The products they sell are top notch. Being able to try every single thing there? I’m in heaven. I’ve never really liked buying olive oils unless I know they’re good quality and the flavor is great, so being able to try them with little bits of bread was so satisfying.

There’s little sample sizes of their products so you can get tiny quantities without having to worry about price. For $25 I got four different samples of oils and vinegar. I plan on making some great...

Total accidental find. I walked out of the bookstore across the street and saw this little place and decided to wander in because it looks so inviting. And boy was it. The woman working there was so friendly and helpful. She gave me a quick overview of all of the different olive oils and vinegars that they have there. They have flavored olive oils and infused vinegars. The variety is almost overwhelming. And you can taste any of them you want before you buy. They even have sample packs that you can test before you buy a big container. They had other little gifts and trinkets to buy as well but the olive oil and the vinegars were the impressive thing. This was my first time coming to Ligoneer and I found my little slice of heaven. This shop was amazing! The selection, the flavors, the smell, the wooden utensils, all the way down to the friendly welcoming atmosphere. My 8 year old son (after eating his weight in samples, mixes and blends of oils and vinegars) said "This place is better than the candy shop!" If that isn't a compliment what is?

The prices are AMAZING, the owner Allison was a delight and so knowledgeable, but most importantly you could literally taste her passion. I will continue coming back to Ligoneer almost specifically for this shop.
