Kingfisher Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Ligonier

I Always have a Wonderful experience at Kingfisher Coffeehouse! They have Wonderful Hot Chocolate and Coffee in this Coffeehouse! They have a nice decorum inside and there is outside seating which would be awesome on warmer days! There are both barstools and tables on the inside. I have had their Salmon Bagel sandwich which was Truly Amazing and Delicious! The Avocado toast is super delightful and is a work of art! Their cinnamon rolls are also super tasty! I have been to Kingfisher Coffeehouse several times for the hot chocolate, and every time it is Wonderful! I went to this Coffeehouse one day in January 2022 which was a Really Busy Saturday when the Ice Festival was going on. On this day, the staff worked as a Team and a long line went down with astounding speed! There must have been twenty customers in the house and got my order taken almost immediately and then got order within about 7 minutes! The staff worked super well together and had a really good system to make everything go smoothly like clockwork. The Barista working behind the counter was Super Fast, Organized, Detailed, but still took enough Time to make sure Each Order was done right and even Smiled when giving me the hot chocolate even though she was obviously super busy. Another staff member even helped me with the lid to the coffee cup as he noticed I was having a hard time putting the lids on(I had 3 hot chocolates). A cute place!

We just love hitting the Ligonier Diamond for all the unique shops. This was our first. Time here and a nice experience. A definite coffee shop look and friendly service. Baked good offered.

My only complaints were that if you order a coffee, you have to pump it yourself and the coffee didn’t taste fresh at that point. Barista wise, all coffee should be served by them. Also, she asked if I would like whipped cream on my hot chocolate, but then charged extra for it. Most coffee shops when they ask, it is usually already included in the cost.

Other than that, a cute place to grab a quick drink or bite and relax.

Cute place at first, but a woman wearing no mask made my drink (I should have turned around as soon as I saw this, but my conflict-avoiding self didn't because I specifically drove to find a local coffee shop while I was in town and was a bit stunned to be honest.) My drink was really weak and definitely not worth that level of coronavirus risk for. Interacting with countless people in such close quarters involving food and drink service with no mask is a decision based on ignorance or carelessness for others or both. And I am pretty sure this was one of the owners, not just a lower level employee. I google covid case numbers in this region and you will see they've sky rocketed higher than ever this month. I wish people would realize that we're going to continue to be stuck in this loop as long as people continue to be so careless.

If I get sick, I will be kicking myself twice as hard as I was as I disinfected my super weak latte...
