Today, we stumbled upon a truly special gallery with “TOY SOLDIERS” written in the window — it immediately caught our eye. Inside, the shelves were filled with hand-painted models, each one rich in detail and historical context. The owner Norm warmly introduced us to the process of creating toy soldiers — from hand-painting and scale design to the integration of historical battle scenes — and it was truly inspiring. My son and I had such a wonderful time exploring his collection. Not only did we get to see these intricate little figures up close, but we also experienced the joy of imagination and creativity that transcends time. For my son, it was an immersive encounter with history and craftsmanship; for me, it was a memorable moment filled with passion, artistry, and a sense of tradition being passed on. Thank you！

Miniature world! While my husband and I were attending the Ligonier Ice Fest, we ducked into this little store that we happened upon. There were so many table top miniatures in the store that anybody who is into that type of thing would be in heaven! This is something that my husband and I, nor our kids were ever really into, but as a tabletop game or hobby store, it ranks way up there. I would highly recommend this place based off of the amount offered and the knowledge of the gentleman who runs the shop. Extremely interesting place to see! In-store pick up and shopping available. On site services. Credit and debit cards accepted.

A fantastic find in Ligonier! I am not really a miniatures guy anymore but Norm and his store make me want to get into it. My sister-in-law was looking for a toy store but it was me that benefitted. Norm was super knowledgeable, friendly and patient. It was great talking to him about classic strategy and board games (he and I started into the hobby with some of the same Avalon Hill games). He has some that brought back very good memories. I wanted to spend a lot more. However, I have to save something for next time. I did get two Princess Bride games and we found another thing in common: love of that classic movie. I come to Ligonier about once a year and I will make sure that the Toy Soldier Gallery is on my list every...

This shop and it's owner, Norm, are both rare gems tucked away in the scenic beauty of historic Ligonier. I've been going here regularly since the beginning of the year and I look forward to it every single time!

Norm also helps to run and organize a miniature wargaming community in the Ligonier area. No matter what game you're into, whether it's GW games like Warhammer 40,000, historical wargames like Bolt Action, Flames of War or Napoleonic systems, or even unique board and card games, Norm has you covered. If you're in the area, this store is a must-see and Norm can entertain and enlighten for hours with both his stories and knowledge!
