This charming new place in town was recommended to us by a friend. Having just finished up at the local market in town, we headed here for lunch with our little one. Menu looked great, lots of selection.
I asked two different workers for a high chair. One mentioned I might be able to find one of two high chairs which would be in the corners of the room. The other pointed me to a dirty booster seat on the floor and offered to clean it for me but I did have wipes myself. Turns out, they only own one booster seat (no high chairs at all) for the whole place. I saw at least 3 other couples holding their babies. As parents, we appreciate the ability to set our child down in a seat so that we can enjoy a meal. I did, however, appreciate the changing station in the women’s restroom! I would highly recommend investing in a few wooden high chairs to attract families coming back.
My husband’s italian hoagie was toasted to perfection and had ample toppings. My BBQ lion’s mane mushroom sandwich was all bread with a bed of lettuce and maybe two tablespoons of mushrooms on it. It was very bare. Delicious flavor though, great concept. I asked the counter for a side of tomato and onion to add to it which did help but was shocked at the small portion of mushroom for a $12 sandwich; well $14 as I upgraded to focaccia bread (that was superb). It felt wrong to address this issue but it almost seemed like they were running out of product, trying to ration portion.
Home made potato salad was delicious as well as the chips/pretzels for sides. Ambiance was great. Everyone there appeared to be enjoying their time!
Overall, staff seemed willing to help and hardworking but not always approachable. It was a busy day but we are going to give this place another try in the future. Great atmosphere, dry goods and meat selection! Our bill ran about $40 for two which was expected. Wish we had room/time...

We ordered 2 coffees and 2 entrees. My partner's coffee came out before our meal, I had to go up and ask for mine again after my food came out and I still didn't have it. Both drinks were gross. I didn't try her latte but my cortado tasted burnt and bitter. Fun fact, there's only one size for a cortado and one size for a cappuccino.
My partner ordered eggs and bacon. The eggs came scrambled with a bunch of herbs and fennel in them (wasn't on the menu, didn't ask for it) and she said they were not tasty. I ordered a "Philly cheese steak" that came out with not enough meat and the cheese was cold.
There is no water unless you buy a bottle. When your order is ready, they yell your number on an intercom which really doesn't help the atmosphere. Counter service, come pick up your food, bus your table and we'll be asking for a tip when you check out.
I recommend hiring an experienced chef to tighten up the food / presentation and hiring an experienced barista to sort out your coffee situation. (I think they spent that budget on all the decor knick knacks). I honestly can't think of one reason to add a 2nd star. Ligonier doesn't have a ton of places to eat so we were excited to try this but one and done...
Read morePROS: Husband loved his sticky bun and Italian Hoagie. The decor was extremely cute and crafty. Someone has an eye for decor. We loved sitting in the patio room. Parking is free. CONS: The directions for ordering etc. are unclear. The sign says get your drinks and sides before ordering. What are the sides? How do I know what to get when you don't post what you have? The person taking our order was unfriendly and unhelpful. After we ordered we were given a number but no one explained whether they would call out the number or should we leave it on our table and they would find it. My order was wrong. When I took it back no apology, just "What should I tell the kitchen to do with it?" Also for a provisioner and butcher my burger was just meh and I wasn't asked how I would like it done. That makes me think it was just a frozen pattie. There was a station with galvanized tubs for dirty dishes. Were we supposed to bus our own table? We did, but I draw the line at wiping it down--the stuff was there to do that. The price was steep for all the self servicing. I think better verbal communication with customers would help a lot. You don't even get greeted. Also the place is just sooo cute but they need to decide what they are. A bar, a restaurant, or just plain old counter service? We will give it another shot and hope it was...
