Just had a terrible experience with Level Seven. I dropped my computer off because I couldn't boot it. I was told it sounded like my hard-drive was bad. They said they could install a new hard drive and move over all my old stuff. They didn't even say maybe or most likely we can recover and move it over, but that they were confident that they could and would. I thought this was a little self-assured given they hadn't done a real look at it, but was happy to accept it. I get a call in a day or two saying my computer is ready to pick up. I go to pick it up and in the midst of checking me out the guy is like "oh yeah, we couldn't recover anything because your old old drive is too corrupt." I literally felt like I just got gutted. Being told so casually I just lost everything? Why didn't they call me as they were working on it let me know? Also while I'm standing there stunned, he proceeds to go over a couple long-shot options to recover my data but they didn't try it because it would be "a lot of hard work." To me this is where they should have called me when they discovered the extent of the damage so I could have told them to try it or considered my options and not wasted my time driving out to the store if I wanted them to continue their efforts. At this point, if I do want to aggressively pursue recovering my data, I don't think I'll be using them. I don't blame them for not recovering my data. Sometimes that's the way it goes, things are beyond repair, I get it. But one, don't over promise on the get go. Two, if you discover a serious problem, call your customer to discuss options. Three, don't casually mention in the midst ringing up someone's bill that oh yeah all their data was lost. I'm guessing most customers would not like that bomb being dropped on them after they've thought that their computer was fixed. These folks may very well be good at repairing computers, but their customer service sucks and they don't seem very motivated to try to fix a hard problem because it's time...
Read moreFirst let me say that this recommendation comes off the heels of some very unhappy dealings with Best Buy's Geek Squad.
I brought two computers into to Level Seven Computers and both were repaired and are working great now. Fast service and very affordable.
The laptop did not need any parts for the repair. Unlike what I was told at Best Buy Geek Squad told me, "Computer is too old and parts are not available." Level Seven had this fixed in no time at all.
The tower was diagnosed, by the Geek Squad, to have a bad CPU. And this turned out to be true. However, since the Geek Squad does not replace CPU’s, they gave me the computer back and miss-informed me as to the correct type of CPU to buy. When I brought the tower into Level Seven Computers, I was told I bought the wrong CPU and the CPU in the tower was still under warranty. Bob sent the CPU to Intel. Intel confirmed the CPU was bad and sent a replacement. So, there was only the cost of doing the repair rather than doing the replace of the CPU. Again, unlike the information I was given from Best Buy's Geek Squad.
As a customer, I appreciate business's that are honest and keep the best interest of their customer's in mind. Plus, I truly appreciate the experts that know their work. I take my business to people I can trust. Clearly Level Seven Computers has my business.
I HIGHLY recommend Level Seven Computers for any your computer needs.
Bob and JT are great to work with.
Thanks for the great service and...

Sept 16th, I took my 6-year old DELL laptop in to Level Seven, (which was running old Windows-7) to have it upgraded. As long as I had it in, I thought best to have it looked all over, kind of a physical. It was running pretty slow and I wasn't even using half of the space available. Came to find out, one of the reasons it's going slow, is that the hard drive was going bad. So Bob, (owner) told me he could improve performance dramatically.
He replaced hard drive, (with a solid state drive) and moved all my important files back as well as upgrading to Windows-10.
I picked it up the next morning, so I was without my, (home) computer less than one day. I couldn't be happier with Bob and the service I received and the price was less than I was expecting, (with tax less than $200.00.
I feel as though I have a new computer and didn't have to buy a new computer. I'll bet it will be good to go for another...
