This is my first review ever & only time I’ve ever felt to do so, I really am not a picky person. I hate being a negative nelly.. I have worked in drive-through myself but I had the worst experience today at this location that I think I’ve ever had at a fast-food restaurant. I’ve had countless order mess-ups that I am understanding about, we’re only human, but never have a felt so unwelcome, rushed, or treated so uncomfortably by the person on the intercom. Before I drove up I had pulled over to look at the menu, I always have bad luck of pulling up to places when it’s busy. I prepared my order (4 $5 rippin’ chicken meals & 2 family size potatoes). I get up to the drive & to my surprise I’m the only car. Yay! I pull up & the girl w/ the mic. Says “order whenever your ready” I say thank you & because I wasn’t sure if meals depended on location, I quickly scanned over the menu to make sure they had the $5 meal, didn’t see it right away so I just asked the girl. W/ an unfriendly & impatient tone she quickly says “yup what would you like”.. I felt rushed so I just try to keep it simple.. I’ll have 4 meals. One with pota.. interupts me loudly “HOLD ON” I wait 5 seconds maybe, totally fine. Maybe her computer wasn’t loading as I was ordering.. idk. She didn’t say anything or say sorry she just goes on to tell me “anything else!” So I finish.. the other 3 w/ fries please. & 2 family potatoes. then I wasn’t sure if they came w/ drinks so I asked her.. again super snappy, I really felt like I’m annoying her because she responds in such ways.. “no they don’t. A dollar extra. anything else?!” I wanted to order drinks & sauces but I just didn’t want to be so snapped at anymore so I just told her “ok thank you. That’s ok that’s all” and she tells me “to the window”. At this point I’m just hoping it’s not the same girl at the window cause she’s so short & unfriendly. I was dreading how she would be in person.. it was her. I just smiled nervously & handed her my card. I couldn’t even understand what she said when she gave me my total but again snappy & unfriendly. I just wanted to get my food and leave so badly. I try to still sound grateful & thank her when she hands my card & pull forward as she told me it’s a wait.. I do so & immediatly started writing this. I couldn’t believe her tone. She didn’t even give me the chance to be friendly before she treated me this way. She ended up bringing my food out “here”. I take my food & say thank you have a good day. “Yep” and walked away. I tried to just keep a smile & enthusiastic tone... it’s as if she didn’t want to put in any effort to be decent yet was working so hard to make it clear she didn’t want to be helping me. I just hope no one else has had this experience. I would’ve paid more to get the rest of my order & get more things when I realized I wanted drinks w/ my food. I hope when I go back it’s someone else or at least that she’s having a better day.. The food was yummy, hot, & as I ordered it.. Hope someone avoids this customer service from continuing or can help her w/ whatever at her job makes her so miserable. Poor girl is very unhappy about something. I am writing to express my ongoing frustration with the service at this location. Every time I place an order, it is consistently messed up. Most recently, I experienced an unacceptable situation that I feel you need to be aware of.
After realizing my order was incorrect once again, I drove back to the store to address the issue. The manager, Ashley, asked me to return the food I had already driven away with so they could put it back to sell to other customers. I immediately told her this was unacceptable — it is a serious contamination risk and against basic food safety standards.
To add to the poor experience, I was told I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for chicken legs to cook. I received no apology, no compensation, and no accountability for their mistake — as if it was somehow my fault that they mishandled my order.
In addition, I ordered biscuits and fries and agreed to pay for them since no compensation was being offered. However, when I changed my mind about the fries, Ashley actually took the fries out of my bag after they had already been handed to me, which was incredibly unprofessional and unsanitary.
People look forward to their meals — we expect our orders to be correct and to be treated with basic respect. This repeated poor service, lack of food safety awareness, and lack of customer care is unacceptable.

Read moreWe had craving for chicken so Popeyes sounded good due to good experiences lately. A little after 7:00, we pulled up to the drive-thru with 3 cars already in line. The first car moved forward. The next car pulls up to order and doesn't move for 10 mins. Then a guy in uniform taped a piece of paper to the menu board then walks off without saying anything. A couple minutes later the car at the menu board drives forward.
We thought they must have ran out of some item on the menu. An elderly gentleman in the car in front of us pulls up to the menu board to order. After about 10 mins we started to wonder.
Then 3 employees came out to smoke a cigarette. The first two didn't say anything and the last one shouted "Holy S**t, look at all those cars!" at this point, three more cars were line behind us (total 5 cars). We waited another 10 minutes. We wanted to leave but were wedged in with a car in front of us and 3 cars behind us. Then another employee taking out the trash began walking passed the cars. The elderly gentleman's wife stopped her and asked her what was going on and she said they closed early.
Once we were able to pull up to the menu board, we read a piece of paper saying "Due to technical difficulties, we had to close early tonight......" Maybe the old man couldn't read the sign which was a bit annoying but surely one of the employees could have told the rest of us who could see the sign that they were closed instead of starring at us while smoking a cigarette!
