Zee Sports International Inc. — Local services in Manassas

This is hands down the best cricket shop that I have seen in the USA and it is not even close. I went to this shop while visiting Maryland for the NYCL tournament and for the week that i was there i decided to go with my father to check this store and can honestly say, it was one of the best decisions I have made as a young cricketer. The owner Zahid, was very knowledgable but that’s not what struck me and my father to strike a deal with him. He is a very good person with a very kind heart and it made me very inclined to buy from him. He was supposed to be closed at 6 on July 4th weekend but he decided to keep the ship open untill we reached at 610 which we then proceeded to talk for 3 more hours about not only cricket but life and we still really appreciate him for that. Apart from how good of a person he is, His selection is unbelievable. Every bat there is reasonably priced along with a machine that knocks the bats, and so many pads, gloves, balls, kit bags. This review won’t do it justice but if you see how much there is to offer at this store for a store based in the USA, you’ll be blown away. If you were to shop anywhere in the USA, go to Zee sports. This store is nothing but a scam. I ordered three pairs of the same black and white Asics Gel-Peake 2 Cricket Shoes (White/Black), which were clearly available on their website. The next day, I received a call from them claiming that the black and white color was out of stock—despite still being listed as available online.

During the call, they asked if I would be okay with blue or orange instead. I explicitly confirmed that I wanted blue, making sure there was no confusion. However, when my order arrived, they sent me two pairs in orange—a color I absolutely dislike—but I was willing to let it slide since at least it was the correct shoe model. But to make matters worse, the third pair wasn’t even the right shoe! Instead of the Gel-Peake 2, they sent me a completely different model: Asics Gel-Lethal Field - White/Orange—which I never ordered.

This is beyond ridiculous and completely unacceptable. It’s shameful that this store is misleading customers and failing to fulfill...

At the forefront and 1st cricket shop in DC Metro. I have been coming here for over 5 years now and am amazed that there is always something new! On my last visit, Mr. Zahid spent over an hour giving his personalized attention in selecting a bat .... weight, balance, and pickup were all recommended based on the price range. He encourages you to test all items to your complete satisfaction without the push of a “salesman”.

Unfortunately, I have witnessed first hand customers who come with the expectation that once they are ready to buy a product to bargain the price (like in their home countries of birth). If they are not happy with a response/outcome, then shortly after a negative review is posted on an online forum. Would these individual negotiate/barging product prices @ Dicks Sporting Goods or Best Buy .... I think not.

HUGE selection of international bat brands, shoes, gloves, shoes, and protective wear. VERY reasonable prices.
