Paint Happy — Local services in Linwood

We booked a party of three for the “Paint and Sip” on Friday night. The owner was very transparent and communicative about how booking worked and we did it easily over the phone for a little discount.

We arrived on Friday to find out we were the only ones so it was a like a mini private party! Probably because it was a rainy night.

We brought a bottle of wine with us and had Rachel as our artist for the night. Rachel was a BLAST! She explained everything for us, was very personable, and overall was great to have the night with. Instruction was at a great pace and Rachel helped the three of us with tips and tricks to make each piece unique to our liking. Our group project was the Ocean City Ferris wheel silhouetted in front of a sunset (maybe a sunrise?). We each had our own canvas in a easel with paint pallets in front of us. Small plastic disposable smocks/aprons were provided however, they don’t cover you’re entire body. Don’t get too too messy!

Anyway, the silhouette was a very nice piece to replicate ourselves and it was worth every penny. From booking, to Rachel, to the finished product… we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, EASY date night, anniversary, or friends night out. We’ll definitely be back again.

i’ve been looking for drawing lessons for about a year now for some extra help and improvement on my art. i discovered Paint Happy and decided to reach out, hopeful that I finally found a good fit. the woman that answered the phone (Denise) was such a sweetheart and super helpful and joyful in helping me find a good artist/class for me. she thought their artist Lauren would be a good match for what i was looking to do. so far i’ve done a couple classes with Lauren and she is awesome! she’s so kind and you can tell how passionate she is about art and teaching her students. she took extra time to sort out my strengths and weaknesses as an artist as well as my personal goals with lessons. the year of patience and searching for the lessons i needed was definitely worth it! I'm so glad I found Paint Happy and Lauren! i told my little brother about Paint Happy and Lauren and he is hoping to take some classes there soon as well! thanks Paint Happy! Denise was amazing, personable and knowledgeable! We celebrated a bachelorette party & brought some snacks and wine before a planned dinner at Baia down the street. The studio is BYOB & BYOF & is so cute and set up perfectly. There was even a chalkboard outside decorated for our gathering :). Our party was 2.5 hours long. The first half happy was a "happy hour" just to hang out, drink and eat before we painted for the rest of our time there. We had a few other breaks while we painted to break it up a bit. Time flies when you're having fun though! You don't feel crammed when you're sitting and painting. There is plenty of room and table space for your drinks & food. There are cubbies for your personal belongings. Denise has Pandora set up on the speaker system and we were able to put on a station of our choice. We brought a picture of what we wanted to paint the day of the party and she was able to print that idea and others that were similar as a guide during her instruction.
