I have to say this shop is a hidden gem! In the Northfield area this HAS to be added to the top of your list for shopping for your dream wedding dress!! They are fairly new, do not skip this boutique, totally worth going just to experience this mother & daughter duo that go above & beyond to help you to experience the best you possibly could while finding your dream dress. They are very personable, there was a sign with "Welcome Kateri" on it when I drove up & my friend Lynda was like, "Kateri, your name is on that sign!" They give you room & are not pushy at all. When I walked in I was not swamped with ladies handing me dresses without me at least looking at them first. They showed me the different styles on the racks and told me to look around before grabbing dresses left and right which I experienced in so many other stores and was not to happy with, it made me feel overwhelmed. These ladies are professional but fun to work with. The story if how they decided to open this store and the meaning of Serendipity was beautiful and I loved it. I will leave that for you to find out should you go shopping there, as when I asked I got goosebumps hearing her story. I need to also add that there is a great variety of dresses here and if you need to buy off the rack like I did that this is the perfect place for you, I had a wedding online dress go bad 3 weeks before my wedding and this is what this store amoung all of the other great things I mentioned has over so...

I am a "Covid" bride were I've postponed my wedding 3 times now. I locked into what I thought was my perfect dress back in 2019. When going for my first dress fitting I was hit with some hard news: my dress just couldn't be altered to meet my expectations of this dream dress I had. I was stuck. 86 days before the wedding I wanted to sink in a hole. My seamstress called her friend: Melissa, who is the owner of Serendipity bridal botique. She not only was closed that day but had her Mom, Lynn open the store for me to try on dresses. I was so grateful. Lynn saw the despair in my eyes and quickly began pulling the most beautiful dresses to try on. I ended up finding and loving the most beautiful dress. Shortly after placing my order, Melissa called me that day saying it would be in even sooner then expected. To say I'm thankful, grateful, and overly appreciative is an understatement. These ladies are incredible. It was a blessing to have found such beautiful luck out of what I thought was the worst ever situation. I was recommended Serendipity Bridal by a friend and could not be more grateful. We're from the Philadelphia area and made a little weekend trip for my first attempt at dress shopping. I'm so glad we did because it was the only place I needed to go.

The owners are so knowledgeable, have a great clean and polished store and created a super fun day. I was actually nervous for my first shop because I didn't even really have a picture in my head for what I thought I wanted. Melissa and her mom gave a number of suggestions then let me and my small group pull a few dresses to get started. I swore I wouldn't want strapless but Melissa pulled a few just in case, saying I could always add sleeves. I'm so glad she did because I put on one of those dresses second and that was the end of my search! I found the dress that was made for me and felt amazing in it (and didn't add sleeves).

I never felt pressure to make a decision immediately, but I happily left with my dress that day. I swear this is the only major purchase I've made that didn't give me an ounce of buyers remorse and I was never even tempted to set up appointments at other places.
