Last fall, I bought a bar cart and had no problem. The salesperson was extremely nice and efficient. Visited again in March and April and found a vanity. Bought it along with matching nightstands. Had a problem with salesperson not being as efficient but tried to stick with him. Now I know I should have gone to someone else. Delivery started out okay. Haven't used the nightstands but they seem okay. Guess I will find out if they are okay after I start using them. The vanity was not put together because the guy said they had the wrong hardware. Reported that. Three weeks later, vanity still not together. Went to store, they had me on their list, set up delivery time, no one showed up. Called store, one guy acted like he couldn't understand anything. Asked for manager, he contacted delivery, they did not understand what was needed so they didn't call or come by. Manager assured me everything would be taken care of next delivery. The day of delivery, I had just lost my dog less than a hour before they came. I was too upset to clearly check it out but signed off. Today, I find that it is not completely put together right but I am just so tired of them. Don't buy from them unless you have a salesperson who knows what they are doing. Cleo's has definitely lost a future customer. I will not do business with them...
Read morePurchased a new sectional on May 18, 2024, the rep was Jani. Sectional was delivered on May 24, 2024. I noticed that one recliner was not flush like the other. I called Cleo’s in Sherwood, to speak to Jani, she explained that I would have to pay another delivery fee of $160.00 to have them to come back out and I stated that this was not fair, it was just delivered. Jani suggested that I have someone to look and see if the side of the recliner was clicked or pushed down, I said no. I had someone to check and the person stated it was. I called Jani back and explained that it didn’t work and she stated it was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak to a supervisor (Jordan) stated that the could not be returned and suggested I remove some of the stuffing from the headrest to make it flush with the rest of the recliner. I asked if it could be returned, he said the owner would not allow that. I sent Jordan pics of the difference, he sent back pics of what was on the showroom floor, which showed that the recliner was flushed. I have furniture that I just purchased that is no good and can’t be returned. I advise you not to buy anything from this company and definitely do not use JANI as your sales representative. When I walked into the store, I had the "I am just looking," attitude when I was greeted by the salesman; because some sales associates can be very persistent and pushy (which is understandable to some degree), however, to my amazement Sales Associate Landon Friend was not anything of the sort. Sales Associate Landon Friend was very kind, professional, honest, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! Landon Friend is a huge part in why I decided to not only purchase the mattress at Cleo's, but to come back and purchase furniture from them in the future. Cleo's should be very grateful to have Landon, because he is phenomenal. He is not pushy, he listens to the customer very well, and is very attuned to the customer's needs. He is direct and honest in his service. I am so very pleased with Landon Friend, and how warm and inviting he was from the moment I walked into the store.
