Update: my wife drove to the location in search of a refund. She spoke with an employee who was truly apologetic. An assistant manager overheard the situation and offered to make our order right then free of charge. By that time we had already had dinner (leftovers). They also have given us our next order free of charge. While the earlier night’s experience is not what we know of PapaJohn’s, this behavior is what we have come to love about the corporation. Perhaps things are improving. And, for those reading this in judgement, I am able to drive and get my own food, but this doesn’t help as many people as when I order it and tip the delivery driver. While it isn’t much, it is at least one small thing I have been able to do to help support people working to provide for themselves and their families during COVID.
Horrible franchise location. They have contracted with food delivery services for delivery, initially a great idea, but tonight they provided them the WRONG address for my house. I order using the PapaJohn’s app. My address hasn’t changed. They delivered to the wrong address. I have a hungry family of 5 eager to eat their favorite pizza. The delivery driver isn’t apologetic. I can’t get hold of the restaurant via telephone in 3 tries and on my 4th try I get someone only to be placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I finally hung up. I hope PapaJohn’s corporate reads this and investigates this location. It does not live up the the high standard set by the founder or other store owners. It is a disgrace and should be sold or lose its franchise ability. I lost $50 don’t have food and still have hungry...
Read moreOrdered online and showed up when the app told me to, just to find out my pie wasn't even in the oven yet. Problem with them new fangled computers and what not, I was told by the "manager" but have a seat I'm putting it in right now, you'll be out of here in 10 minutes. Ok stuff happens I think and sit down, what a show I saw as the orders piled up. "Manger telling walk ins he is too busy to take orders and to download the app. Seemed like the door dash people that were waiting knew more about what was going on than the "manager". 20 minutes later I ask the "manager" how much longer, only to be told that my pie didn't get put in 20 minutes ago but if I wanted to wait. I was baffled when I asked how that happens I was told he didn't know it didn't get put in until just now when I asked. If you've been running a trencher in the cold all day and just want some za and a hot bath do not use this location the pressure of baking pizza is too much the "manager". P.S. I don't think the problems are with the...
Read moreI stopped coming to this location once University opened. At first because parking was impossible Today my online order was directed here, despite having ordered for pickup at university location. I cannot come in to store myself—I am wheelchair bound. I didn’t have an able bodied helper today. As usual I called to say I was here only to be put on hold for 4 minutes and 23 seconds. Lucky for me a fellow from the wing stop next door was making a delivery. I asked him to let them know I was here for a pickup. A young man came right out and my pizza was ready. I’m sitting here right outside the door letting my pizza get cold so I could share this report From the time I parked until now, when I’m finishing, not one customer has entered or exited the store, nor has a delivery person other than the one from wing stop. Next time, if there is one, if my online order is transferred to the markham location I will cancel the order immediately. This is why your...
