A Surprisingly Fantastic Find in Little Rock
Monsoon Indian Bistro has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Little Rock. The food is consistently excellent—we’ve tried the butter chicken, goat korma, Chana, goat and chicken biryani, and of course, plenty of naan—and it always tastes fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell they don’t cut corners in the kitchen.
But what really makes this place special is the service—especially Sonia. She’s absolutely wonderful. Every time we visit, she greets us with the warmest smile and somehow manages to be attentive without ever feeling pushy. She remembers little details, checks in at the right moments, and just brings such a positive energy to the whole experience. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely seems to enjoy making people feel welcome, and Sonia does exactly that.
If you’re looking for Indian food that’s both authentic and thoughtfully prepared—with service that actually makes you feel like a valued guest—Monsoon is where...
Read moreWe went for a lunch on a Sunday. The two servers seemed friendly. They encouraged us to have buffet. Once I started taking food, I realized it was a mistake. The bhaji of the pav bhaji was totally stale. It was smelling bad. When I mentioned to them (twice), they did not change it, and insisted that it was prepared the same morning for a large gathering and it must be good. I did not argue. Just did not like it and will not go again anyway as I went there as a tourist.
*Mutton biriyani is not included in buffet. *They had only one dessert for buffet- a carrot halwa (it was the only delicious...

We recently dined at this Indian restaurant and had a mixed experience overall. The dahi vada was good. The paneer tikka masala was a highlight: flavorful, creamy, and rich without being overpowering. Paired with the garlic naan, which was soft, light, and wonderfully fragrant, it made for a satisfying main course.
The veg Manchurian, however, was just average—lacking the punch and texture we were hoping for. The real disappointment was the lachha paratha. It was clearly frozen and arrived half-cooked, which was quite unexpected from a sit-down restaurant. We were really looking forward to freshly made paratha, so that...
