Dr frank signed off on a procedure I received at SKN @ Franks dermatology, when he was not present. My experience at this clinic was shocking and harmful. I initially went in for a consultation to determine if I was a good candidate for filler. At the time, I had an open wound on my face, and Rachel, the injector, should have deemed me unsuitable for the procedure. This demonstrates her negligence—she either didn’t pay attention, didn’t care, or failed to take the time to assess my situation properly.
During the procedure, Rachel applied excessive pressure on one side of my face, causing intense pain. She placed more filler on that side without my consent and didn’t take the time to determine the nuances of my face for proper placement. She failed to show me a draft or even tell me exactly where she intended to place the filler. I later learned from the filler’s online insert that the product could stay in my face permanently, but when I asked her how long it would last, she incorrectly told me 12 months.
After the procedure, I developed a hard lump on the painful side. When I asked her about it, her dismissive response was, 'How am I supposed to know? It could be a bug bite.' This lack of accountability was appalling.
Additionally, Dr. Frank falsely signed off on my medical records, claiming to have been present during the procedure when he was not. The informed consent process was rushed, with no proper explanation of risks, including potential damage to my lymphatic system.
This experience has caused me significant physical discomfort and emotional distress. I am now seeking corrective action elsewhere and strongly advise others to avoid this unethical and...
Read moreComing into the 3rd floor suite, I was greeted by the receptionist who quickly checked me in. ( I had pre-filled out my paperwork via a text message sent from Dr. Franks’ office after I made my appointment.) The remodeled reception area and waiting room, although open, has an intimate vibe, which I like, and they offer complementary bottled water. After a few minutes I was called back where I saw Bailey Pollock who is Dr. Franks physician assistant. This was my second appointment with Bailey and I’m very pleased with her. She’s thorough and very knowledgeable. Bailey put my mind at ease about my concerns by clearly explaining what was going and how we were going to treat it, without making me feel rushed, while at the same time, I’m not there too long waiting/ chatting it up either. I am self pay and the prices are always affordable. My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Franks dermatology for 6 years. We will continue to trust them with our skin...
Read moreI have been dealing with acne for over 5 years and tried many things. After I told that to Dr Turbeville, she barely looked at my skin and talked to me about a topic to use. She talked as if I knew what I needed to do with the topic she ordered and moisturizers that she recommended. I left the office not knowing exactly what to do with all she said and trying to remember if he mentioned a routine to follow. I was told that the paper they gave had it all explained. All it had was a list of her favorite cleaners and moisturizers, but no daily routine for me to follow. Thanks to the pharmacist that gave me the prescribed ointment, I was informed not it used every day but every other day. The felt more like I was getting advice instead of a structured...
