I went in yesterday to buy some gifts for Christmas and was very frustrated during the whole experience. When I walked in, I was not greeted by any of the staff members. I thought it was normal, until I heard other customers coming in later being greeted. I brushed that off ā however, I could not ignore the lady following my friend and I around the store. The lady did not stop following us until my friend asked, āis that lady following us?ā
After we found a few items, we moved to the cash register to purchase. The person in front of us finished paying and instead of helping me, the workers turned around and started asking each other what they were going to eat for lunch?? After waiting for their lunch conversation to finish, they then asked āoh were you ready to check out?ā⦠yes⦠yes I wasā¦
They also were extremely frustrated that I had a coupon for their storeā¦. A coupon that their marketing team sent out⦠for customers to useā¦.
The workers were not friendly at all (aside from a tall blonde worker and a middle-aged lady with short brown hair ā those were the only workers to acknowledge us in any way). Unfortunately, I will NEVER return to this store due to the lack of professionalism and consideration from the staff. Hopefully, some things can change; fortunately, I will not ever be there...

I bet there are customers that have forgot they even ordered and paid for it. Unfortunately the toggery doesn't reach out to you to inform you either. It amazes me that they are still in business. They really should reimburse their customers until this "so called" back order comes in and then notify their customers when they have the shirts in. Toggery, you guys need to do better for your customers. After all we are the reason your in business. I unfortunately don't have any option but to go to them. Hopefully my options will change soon.
I am still waiting on an order I placed in 8-13 My last order was the same way. I almost forgot I ordered uniforms from them but was reminded when I looked though my back account purchases. After realizing i did in fact place an order. I called them and the lady need to look into my order and call me back. Then she informed me that the type of material was on back order. (why in the world would you not call me and inform me?) Good thing I reached out to get my money back on a few items. Do they do this to everyone? I was told that they would contact me when the shirts were ready but that they were on back order. I went up there twice and when I inquired about the order was asked if I received a text for pick-up and I said no. Finally halfway into the school year, now 2023... I go up there to get the shirts. I was told that... they didn't have me in the system as ever ordering any uniform shirts for my now junior and then senior. Of course, I couldn't find my receipt. To add the icing on top of the cake... my daughter comes home inquiring about the shirts. She said that some people at her school went to the toggery and got uniform shirts and didn't even order any. I was highly highly disappointed š. It would've been Better if they had said... there were some students who couldn't afford the shirts so we gave your order to them. To say that I never ordered any was quite disappointing. I'll be sure to keep my receipt, screen shot and pay with card the next time I have to...
