On April 3rd I had my hair bleached and dyed what was supposed to be dark green/teal with pink highlights by Jayden. The color was uneven but the master stylist approved the new stylists work. I trusted that it was just creative interpretation of my idea. I paid over $280. The first shampoo at home 6 days later, absolutely faded terribly (I have had green/teal hair for over 3 years and never ever seen color fade so much after 1 wash). I contacted the salon and was told I can have it fixed after they saw photos of the fading, that they would just foil in the spots that lost color. 2 days before my new appt, the new stylist decided to just ghost their clients for a new salon. I was told a different stylist would correct the color. I got a new appt and the stylist was very kind and informed me that my original stylist had run out of the color we agreed upon but never told me, she had tried to mix yellow and blue together (explains the color differences). My hair is now corrected but the salon charged me an additional $75 to fix it since they had to do an all over color instead of foil bc the first dye job was that bad. I do not blame them for the first stylist abandoning us. I find it very annoying that they knew the first stylist messed up my hair and made me pay even more to fix it. I SHOULD NOT have had to pay more.
I'm happy with the redo of the color, which has not faded after the first shampoo.
A year later (March 2024), I made am appt for my hair color change. We did a consult and test strand. I was confident.... until the day my hair was done. Unfortunately not only did she bleach my hair wrong (ends at the same time as mids, knowing my ends were lighter to begin with, ending with having to rinse out bleach before mids processed light enough), I was left with a warm band all around my head. Stylist stated she didn't know how to fix it, ended up slathering more purple over the hair to try and fix it without much success. I was told to try and touch it up at home and hope the color deposits. I wrote an honest review on my social media, and the owner CALLED ME TO TELL ME TO STOP BASHING HER SALON and that I'm lying about it fading without washing my hair. She didn't offer any solutions, any refunds... just took the time to call me and berate me and blame the issue on me, and defending the stylist.
I've already consulted with a vivid specialist in another area who said this could have been easily fixed using color theory and toning. She was disgusted at how I was spoken to.
So if you enjoy paying high prices and the salon owner gaslighting you... this is the...
Read moreI was a past client of the salon and very happy to be one. While finishing one of the services a few weeks ago, I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. They could not accommodate me for both services in the same day. So I made an appointment for two pedicures one for me, one for my husband. A week later I made the manicure appointment for just myself. The day came for our pedicures and we both found ourselves extremely sick and in bed unable to basically move. I did not call and make any cancellation. A few days later, I also was unable to make my manicure appointment because I was still sick and couldn’t get out of bed. I did not hear from the salon and when receiving my voicemail, I received a message stating that due to the fact that I did not cancel within 24 hours they were charging my card anyway. First of all, I never gave the salon permission to store my credit card information. Secondly, I was never verbally or in writing, advised of their policy for canceling. I disputed with American Express. American Express contacted them and ended up reversing the charge which cost me $32 for the manicure. I felt this was unfair as when I made the dispute through the American Express app I was unable to write a statement. I called American Express this afternoon and while on the phone with a representative I realized not only did they charge my card $32 for the manicure but they charged my card an additional $90 for both pedicures. This is absolutely insane! I never gave these people permission to charge my card for a service I did not receive. American Express reversed the charge and it is now pending investigation. If you are a client here and you like them you might want to be sure that they don’t hold your credit card information to do what they please. Find a different hair salon there are much better talented and personable cosmetologist and nail technicians out there.
In response to your response, you say you texted six times? Well, Considering your front desk called and left a voicemail on our home phone, he probably texted to the home phone number which would only mean that we didn’t get any of your texts even if that did happen. Nobody ever ever ever told me that you had a cancellation policy and I never got it...
