Absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I stopped in to get coffee. We both ordered iced mocha latte. I asked for Splenda for mine. The girl ringing me out, asked who I’m assuming is the owner about the Splenda-owner responded and said “it’s over there” pointing to a counter. While we waited for our drinks, I looked on the counter, only thing there was Equal. You own a coffee shop, but do not know the difference between Splenda and Equal????? When we received our drinks, I asked for Splenda, she snapped and said only what’s over there. I said, “it would have been nice to know that when I ordered”. Her response was “give it back to me and I will comp you for it” I said that I would keep it-I have Splenda in the car, her response, why make a big deal if you have it in the car-if I am buying $10 worth of drinks from you, then I should get sweetener with it if I choose. I said I would leave a review-she then rudely stated I will reply to your review and state that I was going to comp your drink-that’s your answer-to comp it?? She then stated and don’t come back!!??? Really??? Horrible customer service!! Trust me, I will NEVER come back and I would not recommend this place to anyone. And the coffee is horrible, I should have gotten...

Went a couple times in December and multiple employees both times were ignoring the statewide mask mandate. Either not wearing them or having them pulled under their chins. Plus customers coming in and ordering with no masks on. I'm not sure of the rules for animals in restaurants in NH but one of the unmasked customers brought in a small dog that was obviously not a service animal based on how it behaved.

The drinks were also unimpressive. The barista forgot to put the honey I asked for in my tea and when I went back to the counter and said it wasn't sweetened she wouldn't add any to my drink. I also asked for a lid for my drink and the barista gave me two. I told her she accidentally gave me an extra and handed it back to her with my bare hands to throw away. Instead I watched her put the same lid I was just touching on the next customers cup. So disgusting.

Two stars because the mac and cheese and sandwich I...

Nope. Was a loyal fan of this place. I ordered an espresso to stay. Was informed they would be closing in ten minutes. I replied not a problem as I enjoy my espresso Italian style ( standing and drink briskly ). Was served a hot espresso in a paper cup I politely asked for a ceramic and was told it’s not possible. It’s certainly the staffs right to determine in what form to serve but I should have been given the information at time of purchase as a matter of basic respect and consideration. No apology was offered. No refund offered. I don’t drink hot scalding liquids from a paper cup with plastic lining, and in truth any genuine coffee shop wouldn’t be offering. The drink was left on the counter and I have no intention of returning. Mind you previously I would visit two or three times a week. The lack of consideration I find super off putting and quite frankly...

The InkWell is just not your typical coffee house It's a great place to relax strike up a wonderful conversation or work on your laptop The staff is very accomidating to making sure your Latte coffee or tea is served the way you enjoy it They have both comfortable seating indoors as well as outside right on the Conneticut river They also serve healthy all natural food dishes that tickle your palet at a price that will not drain your wallet They take pride in keeping their establishment clean as well as comfortable It compares to sitting in your own livingroom I know this because I visit their establishment on a daily basis It's like a second home too me

Warm, light, and modern space (see photos by other reviewers — still the same as of 9/24/24). We arrived at 8am; we both got a featured fall drink, Sweater Weather, as a latte instead of a cappuccino. Maple was the distinguishing ingredient and it was fabulous. My wife got the Morning Glory Muffin (like a harvest muffin) and I got the Egg N Muffin— both were delicious. Staff were friendly and prompt. Dog friendly place. One couple brought their dog. WiFi speeds are good: 72Mbps down/ 11Mbps up. Business picked up a lot over the 45 minutes since we arrived. This is a popular place!

Walked here from our Airbnb and found the atmosphere to be one of the best we have experienced. Latte was also one of the best we have had on the east coast. We asked for dine in and got paper cups. Disappointed we didn’t get real coffee cups. Almost took a star off for the avocado toast, something I get everywhere we travel. I prefer freshly sliced avocado on bakery bread not guacamole smeared on store bought bread. In case you are wondering, the best avocado toast I’ve had was in Charleston, South Carolina.
