Lovesac — Local services in Littleton

My wife and I have dogs and need furniture that is durable and ideally washable. After doing some research, we decided to go with LoveSac. We purchased a sectional and in less than a week we got the majority of the parts. We have had three separate deliveries from FedEx but that''s not LoveSac's fault.

Customer Service: 5 out of 5. They really seem to do well in terms of communication and providing quick responses. Staff in the store and over text have been very responsive and helpful.

Unboxing and install: 3 out of 5. This one I'm torn, because they are clearly thoughtful in terms of minimizing waste and protecting the items in the box. BUT you get quite a workout and they don't offer installation, so you will have to move the boxes to the location you want the sofa to be in and then unbox and put together. I'd estimate my wife and I spent 4-6 hours total on 13 boxes. It's really easy to pinch a finger so be careful when putting this together. I would not buy this furniture unless you are ready for a workout and are okay with being sore afterwards. Lovesac should really offer an installation option because many people won't be able to handle the 400+ pounds of weight in all these boxes. Also, be mindful of where you are placing the couch. We were putting it in a corner of our living room and you really want to leave enough space to walk behind the couch when putting it together, which means that we ended up having to push the 400 pounds ourselves on the ground to get it in place. This is one of the bigger downsides to this system.

Quality: 5 out of 5. This couch setup is very flexible and from what I see, very sturdy and well made. You get your money's worth. It's just hard to stomach all the work you have to do putting it together after spending over $5000. It is nice that the covers can be washed and you can purchase additional pieces to change your layout. Not many couches can do this!

Return policy: 2 out of 5. Yes, you can technically return items, but from what I can gather, they send you return labels and you have to get everything back in the box to resend. Furthermore, in their YouTube videos, the founder clearly suggests you tear apart the boxes for easier disposal. So you DON"T want to tear up the boxes until you know you like the items. However, I don't know many people who have the space to store these large boxes until they figure out if they want to keep the couch. If they had someone who could pick up everything for you, then yes this might work. But I don't know many people who would go through the effort to return everything they spent hours unpacking and assembling.

Verdict: Only time will tell if this was a good purchase. I can say that from my experience purchasing furniture in a similar price point, this sectional is very comfortable (got the upgraded padding), looks nice, and I believe will last as long if not longer than it's competition. The customer service is solid so I feel good about...

My wife and I spent an evening putting the entire thing together including the stealth tech sound system which we love!

You will need to be prepared to receive lots of boxes over the course of a few days though...😁

And my personal recommendation on this is to have them delivered to a dedicated FedEx location like I did. That way you know they are safe secure and sound and you pick them up when you are ready. (Which might require multiple trips)
