The Flower House — Local services in Livermore

The Flower House did amazing job for my wedding! A friend of mine who also had her wedding at Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay one year ago, and the first vendor she recommended to me was the florist. I saw her wedding picture, and I was pretty sure that The Flower House would match my style perfectly. That’s why I chose them as my wedding florist, and it turned out to be perfect choice.

Since I live in China, and it’s an overseas wedding, it was impossible for us to meet face to face before the wedding, and I also couldn’t go to their store or workshop; besides, we have 15-hour jet lag, all the communications were made in emails. Although both of us thought it was quite challenging to have online communication only; it turned out that our worry was redundant since our communications were very smooth and efficient. The major contact was Jinger, normally I sent out emails during daytime in our time zone, and I could always get Jinger’s feedback next morning on time. What I did was sent to them sample pictures I liked and asked them if they were able to do the similar thing. And Jinger would estimate my budget item by item based on my choice, if my choice was too expensive, she would remind me. She did really good job to both cater to my style as well as control my budget. And if I had any confusing questions regarding to the contract, she always answered in detail with prompt response. She took down all my detailed requests in different emails, and didn’t miss one single item. And all the payments had been cleared before the wedding, which was really efficient and straightforward. However, it was a pity that I could not meet Jinger face to face and thank her personally in the end.

On the wedding day, I didn’t have chance to meet any staff from The Flower House; when they came and did preparation, I was doing makeup in my room. When I was ready for the ceremony, my wedding coordinator told me that everything was set. And she delivered all the flower accessories to my room before the ceremony, including the hairpieces, crown, bouquets and wrist flowers. They were so beautiful and all well-packed in boxes separately. And when I came back from beach photo shooting, I was impressed by the gorgeous decoration at my ceremony place. The flower arch and the petals on the ground set up the soft and romantic atmosphere with the breathtaking cliff and beach as background, it was just perfect. Not even mention the candles and centerpieces decorated at reception. Especially when night falls, those centerpieces on the tables became brighter, the floating candles together with those elegant, aesthetic, exquisite flowers; meanwhile, the restaurant was playing soft music, making the ambient was very intoxicated.

I was so glad that my wedding was such a big success, because overseas wedding is certainly not an easy job. And The Flower House definitely contributed lots of efforts on that. I really appreciated their exquisite services. They are brilliant and deserve all the complimentary. I also feel sorry because I didn’t have chance to thank their staff personally, to avoid disturbing us, they just came and left quietly, when they left, I only saw their van drive passed us as we were taking wedding photos. It’s our obligation to write down our appreciation online and say thanks to all the staff from The Flower...

The Flower House was the perfect team for us and our wedding. From my initial meeting with them, I instantly could tell they were great at their job. They knew exactly what I was looking for when I didn't even have words to express it. Jinger was so flexible through two postponements and incredibly timely and responsive to every email and concern that came up during our planning. When we finally had our third wedding date locked into place and wanted to switch up the floral vision, Jinger knew exactly how to implement what I wanted. She took the reigns and even helped with several other design aspects...she is just a natural! She also helped with our rehearsal dinner design and florals and knew exactly how to execute what my MIL and I were picturing. Two weeks prior to the wedding day, we decided to move the wedding outdoors and Jinger instantly had the best vision for re-arranging and utilizing all of our florals to create a stunning sweetheart table backdrop. We were speechless when we saw all of the flowers on our day...it exceeded every expectation we had. During pre ceremony portraits, we saw their team working so hard to make every detail perfect. They spent so much time and energy on our day despite a very busy 2021 summer/fall wedding season. Their team is so talented, creative, detail oriented, attentive, and fun! They felt like friends throughout the whole process and genuinely made our dreams and visions their priority. My only regret is not planning ahead to preserve some of our bouquets...they were so beautiful and I wish they could...

We met with a handful of florists while planning our wedding and Jinger was the clear leader of the pack. I'm an Exec Assistant so I have a very high bar for attention to detail, clear communication and organization. Jinger ticked all those boxes easily. Upon first meeting her, I immediately felt comfortable that she was not only passionate, creative and experienced, but professional. Loved that she had tons of examples to show us and knew exactly the feel we were going for with just a few phrases from us. She also saved us from a hideous disaster. Our venue was trying to save us $ by using some of their own tables to "make a kings table". Jinger pointed out that the sizing is slightly different than proper kings tables and showed us some pictures of how horrible the linens can look due to mis-matched sizing. Needless to say, we immediately called the venue to add the rentals, which were only a few hundred $ and saved me much fretting and regret. Jinger made the planning process easy and enjoyable. And, of course, the flowers...they were breathtaking. I'm certain I squealed in delight upon seeing the phenomenal arch piece she created for our "altar" and still comment on it every time I look back at photos. She absolutely brought our vision to life. She even humored my short notice request a few days prior to the wedding when I decided our dog should walk down the aisle and needed some flowers for her collar.
