Ellen is awesome! This was our 3rd time working with her. Ellen helped us buy our first home, and eventually sell our first home. This time around, she helped us buy what is hopefully our final home for a while :). I can't say enough good things about her. This transaction was particularly complex due to multiple reasons and I am pretty confident that without Ellen it probably wouldn't have happened.

Setting the context: Extremely competitive sellers market We had a bunch of 'must haves' given this was going to be our home for the next number of years There was hardly any inventory, and whatever was available was priced at ridiculous levels We were in the process of moving from California, back to Livingston, NJ. So we pretty much had to go through this entire process in a remote manner

Not only did Ellen find us the house of our dreams - a house that was off-market, she did so at a great price we were comfortable with and managed the entire process (attorney review, inspections, helping figure out post purchase renovations, managing seller's expectations, and a whole lot more) for us end-to-end while we were in California the whole time. She's so much more than a realtor - she is a trusted friend, advisor and someone we can count on for everything.

Ellen was great to work with! She's highly knowledgeable and familiar with the Livingston, NJ residential real estate market. My wife and I loved the fact that she was very responsive, extremely hard-working, and went to great lengths to make sure that she understood our needs (not just at the beginning). She is not the kind of agent who throws enough spaghetti at the wall and hopes that something sticks. She listens, truly understands her clients' requirements, offers her perspective, and maintains objectivity as she walks you through your options (vs. selling you things that wouldn't work for you / not being open about the shortcomings of a property). She represented us as the buyers on a deal, and ended up being a dual-agent. Dual agency can get tricky, given that you represent both parties' interests. However, Ellen did a good job in maintaining a fine balance, negotiating fairly, and ensuring that we (or the sellers) never felt short-changed through the deal. In order to maintain objectivity, she would even encourage us to lean on our attorney from time to time. Thanks to her, we found and closed our first home purchase (which, not surprisingly, we find to be beautiful)! We very much appreciated her advice throughout the deal and beyond; and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future. We would have no hesitation in recommending...

Ellen is for sure the No 1 real agent in New Jersey. It was a blessing to me to work with her! My house at livingston NJ was a rental property, remotely maintained for many years. It's tough for me to decide the asking price based on ever changing local market, and handle tons of matters for selling a house. I was so lucky to have Ellen as my agent:

It is impressive that the closing price was exactly the same as Ellen' originally suggested listing price for my house!
