First time I have cried out of pain and had my nail beds bleed at a nail studio. And I have been getting my nails done for 10+ years. The woman that did my nails ("Sunny") kept filing angrily over my nail beds and the skin of my fingers, even though I told her 4 times that "it really really hurts." In response, she kept mumbling to herself the entire time and was clearly distracted, thinking about something else, and taking her anger out on me. Not only was she rude and causing me pain, it also took her 3 hours to do a dip manicure, only for me to see that it was completely messed up when she was "done." The owner was astonished herself at how bad the work was, came over and apologized to me. At that point, my nail beds and fingers were bleeding again so I ran over to the bathroom crying. The owner followed me saying she will have someone else fix my manicure and she is really sorry. Then, after 3 hours, she told Sunny to go away and sat me down with another woman, who then had to immediately soak off and take off the dip Sunny did, and start over. You can imagine how much that hurt with a few of my nail beds still bleeding and now having to be soaked in acetone. Not to mention that out of nowhere while I was sitting with the new woman, Sunny came and kept touching me and trying to hug me, which made me really uncomfortable. I wanted her to stop touching me and go away after causing me pain and doing so much damage that my nail beds bled for the first time ever in a nail salon. And to sit at their salon for 4+ hours with bleeding cuticles and in pain cost me $75. Not to mention - the smallest problem of all was that I had asked Sunny for square shape. What she did (you can be the judge yourself from the pictures) was certainly NOT a square shape. I had to go to another nail salon the next day where I paid $20 to take off the polish and cut my nails all the way down so they can start growing again in the shape I wanted them to be in the first place. What a nightmare. Find a...
Read moreI came here for the first time to get my nails done for prom. My first impression of the salon is that it is very spacious and clean. The owner, Misun Han was very kind she helped me book an appointment and greeted me. I sat down first to get a pedicure done, my technician was Angy, I told her I had some cuts on my feet and she was extremely gentle and attentive. I had gel on my toes and she used a gentle electric nail file to shave the color down, usually i get cuts or the nail tech does it too hard to the point where it’s uncomfortable. However, she did a perfect job (very careful in her craft!!) and indulged in conversation she’s very smiley and warm. She shaped my toes perfectly how I wanted them and after she used an amazing foot scrub and lotion, which smelled amazing and made it feel like I had baby feet. The scent of the water was SO GOOD. I presume it’s green tea because she added a green powder that soothed my feet so much. I was very happy with my pedicure experience, i’m glad I got her. Then, I got my nails done and I asked for a fill in french almond. I had super grown out nails and even one was missing. My AMAZING nail tech Fanny buffed and filed my nails down to perfection there was a smooth transition from my cuticle to the gel part of the nail, not bulky at all. She used a tiny brush to draw on the french design and I was surprised at how attentive she was to detail. She was also very quick, this was the best french gel extension I had ever gotten ESP because french is my go to. The owner is absolutely the best, Mrs Misun Han helped me so much and you can tell she works very hard to keep her nail salon in top shape. I will most definitely come back as the place was very welcoming, professional, hygienic, I will 100% be going back, I had an amazing experience and very...
Read moreHave been here three times—booking online in Jan 2025 for a $37 pedicure and again in Feb 2025 for the same and both were great. Now just the other day, March 2025, expecting a $37 pedicure... Well, I went online to book the treatment and couldn’t find a way to do that. Then I saw the price went up to $42. I called, made an appointment for a pedicure and arrived only to sit in the massage chair and have a menu with massages with pedicures starting at $55 and up forced into my hands. I said, “That’s it?” And she said yes. And the menu was pushed in my hands, not by the pedicurist or the cashier/booking person, but a third woman I never saw after I agreed to a treatment. (One point to keep in mind—I don’t get my toenails painted and I cannot stand that I get charged the same as a pedicure where I could get my toenails painted, but for some reason, all salons don’t discount even $1 for not painting your toenails (not smart).) So I chose $55 feeling like “I had no choice.” The treatment was great, though notably it took the same amount of time as my regular pedicures in January and February. So I go to pay and wouldn’t you know it? There is a $42 pedicure listed on a menu posted at the register. So I was really upset—why didn’t I make it clear that I didn’t want an added massage? I should have spoken up for myself. Why was that other lady, not my pedicurist, so forceful, and why was the amount of time the exact same for both treatments which costed 30%+ more? Not going back. It’s a clean and lovely setting, but that...
