I love Mango Mango desserts, and I’ve had a good experience at this location once before, but this time was quite the opposite! We ordered 3 desserts, and the first two came out quickly. They were delicious as always, but we sat there waiting for the 3rd dessert for over 25 minutes before we gave in and politely asked the server when it would be out. It was only then that we were told the order was cancelled because they ran out of it! We overheard another customer speaking to the server right after, and she wanted to cancel her order because it was taking too long as well. She was then told the same thing, that it was already cancelled because they ran out, which visibly shocked and annoyed her as much as we were. It seemed like a busy night, and there were only two young servers working, so I understand that they might have been overwhelmed. Still, the owner needs to adequately staff the restaurant, or at least teach the young and seemingly inexperienced workers to tell customers when their orders get cancelled so they aren’t left sitting and waiting for absolutely no reason! It is a shame, because this location is the closest Mango Mango to where I live. I hope the service here improves, so I won’t have to drive out further to enjoy their desserts...

love it here, there isn't really any alternative asian desert place in essex county so.. been coming here several times. reason for 3 stars. i sincerely hope this reaches the owner: it's a bit confusing to order here, let me elaborate, if this is a place that offers table service, then that would be the first question asked to the customer, take out or dine it? if dine in, pls sit at a table and someone will come to you. you should not have dine-in customer that orders from the counter. if you don't have enough people waiting table then just make everything self serve. you do not want people sitting down and then go up to order themselves. this is no good for obvious reasons: customer should be first come first serve. if you allow some to order at the front, then what about other sitting customers waiting for someone to take their orders? if there is table service, there should be a tip. having the correct expectation helps both the customer and the waiter/waitress. once we get that cleared up, then you can improve on...

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are helpful and kind. My order has a specific name though the establishment does work with customers to mix ingredients necessarily. I like the Strawberry-Mango-Lychee-Jelly-Sago-Slush (no ice cream since I'm Vegan): the ingredients taste really good together, and I find the dessert to be very refreshing especially after a hearty meal (make sure to save room for dessert if you're at another eatery though near a Mango Mango Dessert). I look up the ingredients like Lychee and Sago to find the dessert may be a healthy option depending on the amount of sugar. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy the dessert option and visually find many of the desserts very appetizing. In a discussion with one of the owners, I can share that after being open for about eight months the establishment is looking to continue making progressions which I think will only bolster developments of the establishment in better directions. My husband and I came to this location for the first time to enjoy desert after lunch. There was a nice sized parking lot right outside which was a huge plus. Right when we walked in the staff greeted us with friendly smiles. One of the first things we noticed was how trendy and clean the space looked. My husband and I ordered the Snow White Mango Juice With Red Beans, the Mustang King Durian Dessert Bowl, and we also got to try the mango pancakes. Wow we enjoyed everything. Durian is definitely an acquired taste but it’s excellent if you’re a fan. I really loved the Snow White dessert with all the different textures. Both bowls had a nice blend of flavors that created the perfect balance of sweet. The mango pancakes came out just made and we really enjoyed how light and fluffy they were! The owner Brian even said hello to everyone which is always nice to see. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!

"My recent visit to Mango Mango Dessert in Livingston was an absolute delight! After a hearty dinner at home, we couldn't resist the temptation for dessert, especially after hearing so much about their mango delights. The variety of mango-infused desserts, drinks, and cakes left us spoilt for choice. We indulged in their tantalizing mango creations and were not disappointed! The ambiance was cozy, and the service was good.During our next visit, we savored their waffle with mango Nutella and Alphonso mango flavored ice cream, which was an absolute feast for the senses! The perfect combination of flavors and textures made it an unforgettable experience. We're already planning our next visit to try out more of their mouthwatering offerings. Highly recommended for all mango lovers out there! Check out some of the captures we took during our visit."
