I have been struggling with cold air-induced and exercise-induced asthma this year, which has been preventing me from exercising. My lungs would tighten up and fill up with mucus when I come into contact with cold air, drink a cold drink, or walk up a hill a bit faster. It was very depressing that I could not exercise. My primary care doctor told me to use inhaler before and during my exercise but I was hoping for a long term solution. I have always been a true believer to acupuncture because my son had asthma when he was one year old and another acupuncturist (in Chinatown) cured his asthma. I did not want to go all the way to Chinatown and decided to give Dr. Jin a try. Dr. Jin put lots of needles on my back (she said my back is really tight and stiff, which likely blocked my energy), the top of my head, my neck, and my ears. She said that she wanted to calm my sympathetic nervous system down. She was also very comforting during my treatment because acupuncture treatment does come with a little pain and a sense of vulnerability. She kept saying "the pain will be worth it, the pain will be worth it, you will be better," which was helpful in grounding me and helping me relax.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing is I was able to run on my elliptical for 40 MINUTES right after my first treatment and I did not need to go back again! It has been one month since my treatment with Dr. Jin and I am...

I have tried a few acupuncturist before and can say Dr. Jin is hands down the best. I had a lower back injury a week ago which made me hardly able to stand or sit straight. It was so painful and my back simply couldn't support my upper body. I called Dr. Jin about this emergency and she asked me to come in first thing next morning. When I went to the office the next day, I realized she made herself available for me even though she was not scheduled to be in the office on that day. I was a little scared and nervous at first when she started putting needles on me. But soon I felt, although a little painful, the needles were actually doing their job. I could feel she was very professional and accurate with the treatment. She also gave encouraging words from time to time which made me calm down and relax quickly. After the acupuncture treatment was a 15 minute massage session. Susan the masseuse therapist gave me the best massage I ever had. She knew exactly where my pain was and what to do about it. When it was done, I was surprised to find myself able to stand up straight. It was like a miracle! Two days later I went back for a follow-up treatment. Within four days after the injury, I was pretty much back to normal. This is the fastest recovery I ever had. Big kudos to both Dr....

I have been going to this practice on and off for a few years and I will keep coming back. Everytime I have an issue that no other doctor or massage therapist can explain/treat without medication, I come to Dr. Ke Jin and after 2 or 3 treatments, I feel significantly better. I have come here for wrist issues, shoulder pain, back pain, and nerve pain while pregnant. The staff are all pleasant and knowledgeable, I have always felt comfortable. Please note, I have no qualms about going to an MD for a flu or something like that and am under no illusions that acupuncture can heal everything. However, if I can fix an issue with acupuncture, rather than painkillers/surgery, I would much rather try...
