On a whim while out with my friend, who came to the same shop for her bridal measurements, we stopped by and had myself measured by the owner, Christine. I had never been measured before but Christine made the experience so kind, seamless, and considerate of my privacy. I may be petite but I am not skinny, and at no point did I feel like my body was an issue or hard to fit. Quite the opposite, actually, because Christine was able to swiftly measure me and provide bras that were immediately the right size, shape, lift, etc. She even provided some options that I never would have guessed would work for me, which were delicate mesh ones with the most gorgeous wildflowers embroidered on them (still with an underwire for proper shape and support, I definitely couldn't do a bralette!), reminding me of our trip to Washington state and getting married amongst alpine wildflowers! The bras were so well made and comfortable that I said aloud, "Comparing these (what I was trying on) to what I came in with, I'm just thinking, what the hell was I doing??!" 😂 It was truly a lovely, unexpected experience and I'm so glad that now I have bras that do not move around, slide up or down, pinch or squeeze me uncomfortably, etc. I will say, please be prepared and be realistic about what your budget will be before entering, not just because all the pretty options are so tempting, but that these bras are actually made well and nothing like those from big-box retailers (I'm looking at you, VS) so please be prepared to pay reasonably in exchange for the craftsmanship you receive. I'm a momma of a bride to be and wanted to gift my daughter with her lingerie trousseau. I called Christine at Sitting Pretty Intimates for her help in finding pretty lingerie that would fit my daughter's lifestyle, clothing style, and body type. However, as my daughter is well over 2,000 miles away, we had some challenges. Plus, I'm super busy and really didn't have time to go into the store. I sent Christine pictures of my daughter and described her lifestyle and clothing style, after which, Christine spent well over an hour with me on the phone. She sent me pictures and videos of various ensembles that she thought might appeal to my daughter Kate. We selected several and Christine shipped them to California, saying that if anything did not work, Kate could ship them back and exchange them.
